Taeyong woke up.

Of course it was a dream! Taeyong felt his lips to make sure. Yup, no stitches. It had been a dream. He breathed a sigh of relief and stretched his arms over his head. He glanced at the clock which read 9:47 am.

"Ah, I'm so silly! It's 9:47, not 0:00." Taeyong chuckled as he talked to himself. "9:47! 9:47!" he whispered, remembering. "9:4.....7?" He stared at the clock. "9:47! OH GOD I'M LATE!"

Taeyong didn't bother to put on matching socks. He quickly brushed his teeth, toothpaste flying everywhere and splashed water on his face. The bathroom was a mess when he left. He changed his shirt hurriedly and squeezed his feet into what looked to be a pair of Donghyuck's shoes.

He rushed down the stairs and grabbed hat from the coat rack. He burst through the front door and pulled his phone out. He clicked on Jaehyun's contact and held the phone to his ear as he hurried to a crosswalk. He noticed a few girls whispering and pointing at him. He sheepishly waved at them, assuming they were Nctzens. One girl scowled and the other flipped him off.

"Uh!" Taeyong stuttered. What the hell?! Taeyong thought. He scoffed again and crossed the street as the cars came to a stop at the crosswalk.

Phone still in hand, Taeyong put it to his ear again. No one answered. Taeyong sighed and slipped his cell into his pocket. No wonder Jaehyun wasn't answering, they were practicing.

Once he got across the busy street of Seoul he looked around. He drew a hand through his red hair and sighed for the millionth time that day. He looked around cautiously and pushed the door open to the large SM building.

He rushed up the red carpeted stairs of the dance studio. When he reached the third floor he turned down the left hallway. A man in a dark suit stood in front of the door to NCT's practice room.

"You're late." the SM employee scowled at the idol. "Why?"

Taeyong couldn't help but roll his eyes. "I overslept. And no one woke me."

The employee knocked on the door, answered by Hendery of Wayv. "Hi Taeyong hyung! Ha that rhymes!"

Taeyong smiled at the Wayv boy. "Sorry I'm late Hendery. I-I overslept...."

"It's okay hyung." he grinned and cocked his head to the side. "We're practicing for the comeback!" What else would we be doing?  Hendery thought to himself. I'm so silly ah!

Taeyong entered the practice room nonchalantly and set his phone on the table next to his members' bags and such. Much to his dislike Hendery announced his arrival.

"Not to fear our leader is here!" the young Wayv member cheered. Taeyong fought the urge to roll his eyes as he wanted to come in inconspicuously.

"Hey Taeyong!" Taeil came over to him and put a hand on his shoulder. "Your job is tough, I had to handle them," he gestured to the Dreamies who were doing cartwheels, "while you slept."

"Err, sorry Taeil...." Taeyong scratched his head, his fingers scraping his injury. He winced in pain and cleared his throat.

While the 21 idiots, as their strict choreographer Ms. Lu liked to call them, talked and laughed extremely loud, the camera crew scoffed.

"Are you boys done now?" Ms. Lu snapped, making them turn to here attention. Ten bit his lip as to hold in his laughter. He just couldn't help is though and let out a small giggle. Ms. Lu was a wild card, with her bright blue hair and very exaggerated makeup she looked like someone out of Raul Paul's Drag Race.

"Chittaphon Leechaiyapornkul!" The teacher directed at the unruly vocalist. "I would prefer that you would shut up and listen to me. Do you want to get fired?!"

Ten's eyes widened as he gulped in fear. "No ma'm, I mean yes ma'm. I mean no I don't want to be fired! I will listen now!"

The practice went on with complaints from the Dreamies and Lucas.

"I don't want to do this!" whined Chenle.

"I'm so hungry!" Jaemin cried.

"This is boring! Jungwoo hold my hand!" Lucas has a tantrum.

Taeyong's headache increased as the younger boys whimpered about their boredom level. Finally it was his turn to learn his part. Ms. Lu took him aside to teach him the dance break.

"Ten come here!" The stern choreographer clucked her tongue. Taeyong's eyes widened as he heard his friend's name.

"Wait what?!" the red head hissed through clenched teeth. "Ten? Really?"

Ms. Lu looked down her long nose at the boy. She somehow managed to do it despite Taeyong being a foot taller than her. "Did I ask your opinion? You will dance with Ten! It's SM orders! MY orders! So listen you-"

She cut off as Ten approached. Taeyong could see disdain in his dark eyes. Taeyong looked away from his best friend and sighed. You're being petty again Lee Taeyong! He reminded himself.

He immediately plastered on his smile and turned to face Ten. Ten raised an eyebrow but ultimately bought the elder's act. He still felt bad about injuring him.

"Okay boys....." Ms. Lu began to show them their dance. Much to their distaste, it was a very questionable dance. "Ten position yourself here. And Taeyong don't hurt Ten when you 'grab his crouch'. Okay?"

The boys looked slightly disturbed as they had to participate in a sexy dance while in a quarrel with each other. Taeyong sucked in a breath and let it out. Ten felt it on the back of his neck. Ten didn't mind. He wasn't the one mad, he just wanted to be forgiven.

They practiced their dance, with Taeyong still pissed. When the practice was over Taeyong immediately walked away from Ten. The vocalist looked at his shoes as midnight black hair fell over his eyes.

"Can't you forgive me?" He whispered to himself as a tear fell from his eye. He grabbed his bag and flicked the lights of the dance studio off. "Please?"
