Kazuki Hihara's POV

Seriously... I can't get to sleep at all.

I was rolling around in bed, thinking about the moment I shared with Yui earlier.

She seemed to be keeping something to herself, and not telling one anything about it.

I wonder what it was, that was bothering her. There was something behind those smiles she's been giving to us, they seemed almost... forlorn.

Yui, what's wrong?

Why can't you let me into your walls...?

It was then that I heard the sound of the violin playing. It resonated throughout the entire villa.

It must be Tsukimori, isn't it?

No.

It wasn't a single violin.

It was two violins that were playing.

There... there was another person playing the violin!

I immediately jolted out of bed, running out of my room towards the direction of the music that echoed throughout.

It was... a beautiful duet of Ave Maria.

The two people who were playing the violin were extremely good at it. The piece didn't just exhibit skill, it exhibited... so much outpouring of feelings... and love.

But who was the other person?

As far as I'm aware, nobody other than Tsukimori knew how to play the violin.

Curiosity slowly crept up to me.

I needed to know who the second violinist was!

I was about to reach the location of the music.

But suddenly, the music suddenly stopped.

It came to a rude halt, the piece wasn't even finished.

Huh?

I rubbed my eyes and looked around the corridors. Everything was dark and there seemed to be no soul in sight at all.

... Was it just my imagination?

Yui Utsugi's POV

It hurts.

It... hurts.

My wrist, which was hurt earlier by Yunoki, started exhibiting a sharp pain towards the end of the piece.

Tsukimori joined in the piece of Ave Maria halfway, which surprised me a little.

But I didn't stop playing because the music that we both played together sounded so beautiful.

However...

I had to stop. Right now.

My knees were trembling, and I felt like my vision was going blurry because of the sharp pain in my wrists.

Tch...

Stupid... Yunoki.

I cursed silently under my breath.

My arms stopped moving, and my legs gave up entirely on me.

I saw the world move around me in slow motion, as I let my body crumble down.

"Utsugi!" Tsukimori caught me in his arms, before I could fall completely.

"It hurts." my wrist was shaking uncontrollably.
