After their shows in Dublin, Glasgow and Manchester they went to London. There three concerts were scheduled and all of them were sold out. They would play at Wembley Stadium, three times in a row! There had been some things that had simply taken their breath away, but this, that was something else entirely. It was simply unbelievably cool and lifted them into a completely different sphere. And it made them nervous. Even though they had played all over the world, Wembley Stadium was not one of those concerts that you just take away. And they were all correspondingly excited.

On top of that, their families and friends would also come to the last evening. They were all looking forward to it even more than to Wembley Stadium. It had been months since they had seen their families. Except for Niall, whose parents had come to the show in Dublin. And they could all do with a bit of family attention. But until they did, there were still two days ahead of them, trying not to lose their nerve.

A handful of fans had been allowed to attend the soundcheck of their first evening, and there was no worse time for that. Everything went quite smoothly, but you could see the guys were tense and the fact that there were some spectators there didn't really ease the pressure. But they were a bit more relaxed afterwards when they took the time to talk to their fans. But they didn't have much time for that, because they had to go backstage again to get ready.

Just before the concert there was almost an oppressive silence between them. Nobody made any effort to say anything or to build up the others. But they simply lacked the words and probably it would have made everything worse. Niall looked pale as a corpse and just stared at the wallpaper, Zayn tried to distract himself with his cell phone but failed miserably and Liam ran excitedly through the room, looking a bit as if he was about to pull his hair. Only Louis seemed to be completely relaxed, at least on the outside, he had put one arm around Harry and stroked him gently over his shoulder, which had a very calming effect on Harry. He had just nibbled his nails and leafed through all kinds of magazines on the table.

"There's no reason for you to be so nervous. You know you're good at this. Don't make yourself so crazy," Louis whispered to him, pressed a gentle kiss against his temple, giving Harry goose bumps. "Besides, your mama ain't coming till the day after tomorrow."

The boys had to laugh when they heard this encouragement, it was no secret that Harry became even more nervous as soon as his mother sat in the audience. Before a gig, it had been relatively early in the year, the management had surprised the boys with their families. When they told them, "Make an effort today, boys, your families are in the audience." everyone was happy, only Harry had turned terribly pale. Louis later found Harry quite upset in the bathroom where he had just vomited. "This is a silly surprise." he mumbled and fled into Louis' arms, glad the elder had comforted him.

"You're silly," mumbled Harry and gave them all an evil look that only made them laugh more. It's nice that a joke at his expense, of all things, should lighten the mood. Liam sat down again, took Zayn's mobile phone out of his hand and involved him in a conversation, and even Niall no longer stared at the wall completely apathetically. "Sorry, Hazza." Louis smiled at him, kissed him again, which made Harry almost vermilion. Mostly because Niall had seen it and started smiling incredibly wide. He didn't have to say it. He had the look that got his hopes up for both of them. Harry had meanwhile given up trying to explain to him that it was hopeless. Not only because Niall didn't want to hear it, but also because Harry didn't know if it was really that unlikely. Things were going really well between him and Louis, so why not take the next step? Harry had often thought about it in the last few days and had made a list in his head of what speaks for, what speaks against a relationship. But he had not come to a conclusion.

Not this time either. The door opened and they were told that they still had half an hour before the performance. They used it to warm up their voice and to put the finishing touches to their hairstyles. After that they went outside. They all had terrible stage fright as they made their way to the stage, so a big group hug came in just in time. Someone stroked Harry's curls and his neck, he tapped Zayn because he smiled and winked at him afterwards. Then it could no longer be put off and they had to get out.
