Hope Mikaelson POV
One week later and our lives were finally getting back to normal. Regina became one of Alaric's assistants, Hope has been taking special classes for her powers, and Lizzie and Josie were stressed about midterms.
And I was finally happy. Of course I am still upset about Landon. There is not one day I don't think of him. Whenever I see my friends I start to feel better right away.
"Hey Alaric! Do you need any help?" I walked into his office and there were bunch of papers on his desk.
"No thank you, he has me to help him now." Regina said taking one of the stacks of paper.
"Where is he?" I asked.
"He's giving all the teachers the midterm tests for the students. I heard that this test is going to be hard. I hope you studied for it." Regina said.
"I tried, but I'm kind of procrastinating right now. Are you sure you don't need any help?" I asked again.
"Actually I could use a hand. Could you check the mailbox to see if there's any mail in there?" Regina said.
I nodded and then walked toward a rectangular hole in the wall where the mail came from.
"There's nothing really here just junk." After I put the mail on the table, another envelope fell on the ground.
I picked up the envelope and it looked like it was made of gold. I opened the envelope carefully so I wouldn't ruin it. Inside was an invitation.
It said, "Congratulations in honor of defeating Rumplestiltskin we cortially invite you to a royal ball in Storybrooke. It will be held tomorrow night at 6pm. With love and respect, Snow and Charming."
"Regina! You are not going to believe this!" I said handing her the invitation.
"A royal ball! I haven't been to one in ages! We have to tell everyone else!" Regina said in excitement.
I nodded the agreement and went to tell the rest of the girls while Regina went to tell Alaric.
"Guys! We have been invited to a royal ball! How cool is that?" I said.
"Really? That is amazing. I'll finally be able to dress like a princess! Oh my god I need a dress! I'm not gonna find a dress in time!" Lizzie shouted.
"Calm down. The ball isn't until tomorrow, we'll figure something out." Hope said.
"Yeah! Wow I'm so excited! Our first royal ball ever! But wait, I didn't see a castle in Storybrooke when we were there." Josie said.
"That's because there is no castle. My grandparents might have wrote 'royal ball' but the ball is probably going to be held in some random building." Hope explained.
"Way to bring my hopes up. So you're telling me you're a princess without a castle?" Lizzie asked.
"Yes. We literally had a sleepover in my house. If I had a castle, we would've definitely stayed there." Hope said.
"It doesn't matter, we're going to have fun!" I said.
"Because we'll all be together!"
