Chapter 22- An Epic Battle

Hope Jones POV

"You want a fight? Then a fight is what you'll get!" Regina yelled.

Regina poofed us all out of Rumple's shop and onto the road in Storybrooke. This battle was going to be messy.

"How many of you are there? Eight? Against one?" Rumple said. "That's not a fair fight."

Rumple used magic to push me, Hope, Lizzie, and Josie into a tree bark and then he tied us with vines.

"Hey! Let them go!" Hook yelled.

"You should be thanking me!" Rumple said. "I'm protecting them from getting hurt from this fight. And trust me it's about to get ugly!"

Rumple used his magic and made Hook crash into a stop sign.

"Dad!" I screamed.

"You don't want to see what's about to happen next, Hope!" Rumple yelled.

Rumple poofed us into Granny's Diner and the vines on us disappeared. They turned into handcuffs and our hands got chained to the tables.

"I can't break the chains!" Josie said. "They're too strong!"

"That's because it's sealed with dark magic!" Hope said. "There's no way we can get out of them."

"We're trapped."

Emma's POV

I ran to my husband who's was still on the ground next to the stop sign. This wasn't the first time something like this happened but I still worried.

"Hook! Are you okay?" I asked.

"I'm fine luv. But people are starting to get concerned." Hook said.

He pointed at a bunch of people coming out of their homes with worried looks on their faces.

"We can't let the people of Storybrooke get involved." Hook said.

"You're right, we can't!" Rumple said.

He sent everyone into the Storybrooke library and sealed the door with magic. Hook got up from the ground and we met up with Regina and Alaric.

"So what's the plan?" Alaric asked.

"Hook and Alaric, go back into his shop and see if you can find some squid ink to freeze him. Emma and I will hold him off with our magic." Regina explained.

"Sounds like a plan!" Alaric said. "Let's go Hook!"

The two of them ran back into the shop before Rumple could see them.

"Did Hook and Alaric seriously run off?" Rumple said. "What a bunch of cowards."

Regina and I used our magic on Rumple but he was moving too fast. Rumple used his magic to bring a sword into his hand.

"Using magic gets boring sometimes." Rumple said staring at his sword. "I want to see you bleed."

Rumple wasn't the only one that can magically create a sword. I used my magic to create a sword for me and Regina.

"What are you doing Emma?" Regina asked. "You know I don't use swords to fight!"

"Well now is the time to learn how to use it!" Emma said. "If he fights with a sword, we will as well!"

"And we're going to beat him."

Hope Jones POV
