The trio strode through the town up towards the castle on their horses. The people of Camelot were staring with curious eyes at the girl with hair like a raging fire. The man clad in a forest green and browns and the towering man on the back of a large black stallion.

"If I wasn't upset I would say this is rather awkward." Ruelle whispered, giving Robin a sideways glance.

"They are probably staring at your hair Carrot top! Look around, you are like a fiery ember surrounded by coal." Little John laughed getting an annoyed glare from the girl. Her heart sank slightly at his words, a lonely ember surrounded by unknown strangers.

"Shut up you oaf before I go over there and pull you off your ridiculous sized horse." She jeered, with a eyebrow raised and a smirk gracing her lips.

"What in front of all these watching eyes? I dare you Sparky." John teased back. Ruelle scoffed.

"Oh yeah you think that would bother me tiny John?"

"Of course it would, come here then."

"Fine!" Ruelle started to move to get off her horse when Robins hand slammed down on little Johns and her own shoulders.

"That's enough! You two are not allowed to speak to each other until we speak to the king." Robin said raising his voice making more people stare.

"Oh come on! Robin she started it!" Little John exclaimed, gaining another scoff from the girl.

"That's poppycock! I challenge you to a duel John."

"You're on!"

"Will you two Shut up!" Robin yelled with a chuckle. "John you started it-"

"Oh yeah, I forgot about your favouritism Rob." Little John scoffed.

"Ha!" Ruelle smirked.

"And Rue you can't challenge everyone to a duel when they piss you off."

"Ha!" Little John mocked.

"John I swear-"

"Sir Robin of Locksley, Lady Ruelle. Welcome to Camelot." Someone said loudly, ending whatever conversation the trio was having. They snapped their heads towards the voice and found the person who it came from.

"Your Majesty, it is a great honour." Robin said confidently with a bright smirk. Ruelle and John made eye contact slowly then snapped their heads forwards to face the king. Ruelles cheeks dawned a light pink colour as she realised the King had heard them arguing. When did they even make it into the courtyard?

"Your grace." Ruelle spoke up politely with a curt nod. John just kept quiet, it looked like he was trying to hold in a laugh.

Robin leaped off his horse, followed by John. Ruelle was about to do the same when two hands appeared in front of her. She looked at the face belonging to the hands. The first thing she noticed was his calm blue eyes and his blond hair.
