The sun had only been up for a couple hours and Ruelle found herself out in the castles courtyard on top of her horse ready for her journey to Morganas fathers grave. To her disappointment she found out she couldn't wear her normal clothes, which consisted of a pair of tight fitting trousers and a dress shirt, so she opted for a rich navy dress and a forest green cloak, like Robins, Marian had packed for her. Even if she did hate the dress, it's better than the pink one she was forced into wearing yesterday.
"Hi, You must be Gwen." Ruelle greeted a girl in a lilac dress from the top of her horse. The girl curtsied and was about to greet before Ruelle chuckled lightly. "Please there's no need for that or titles, I'm Ruelle, but you can call me Rue."
"Well Rue, it's wonderful to meet you, though I wish it was under better circumstances." Gwen said referring to the fact they was going to see Morgana's deceased father.
"Oh, I kind of forgot- Morgana!" Ruelle exclaimed awkwardly as Morgana and Arthur came walking out of the castle, Arthur instantly helping Morgana up onto her beautiful white horse. Ruelle's eyebrow raised slightly at the look Gwen and Arthur shared, Morgana noticed it too but pretended like she didn't while Ruelle snickered at the sight.
"Well I hope your trip isn't too upsetting." Arthur said gently as he fixed Morgana's cloak at the back of her horse, and walked back towards Morganas side.
"Thank you Arthur." The ward replied back great fully. Arthur turned to the guards that surrounded the women.
"Ensure you return to Camelot before dusk." He ordered, getting an agreement from the knight that would be leading the group.
"My lady!" A shrill voice squeaked causing Ruelle to shiver.
"Oh please god no." Ruelle muttered, earning a confused look from Arthur and Morgana but it seemed like Gwen already knew what was going on. "Hello Martha." Ruelle greeted the young blonde girl sweetly. The king was slightly outraged at the fact the red head refused to have a maid, he couldn't understand it. So here Ruelle was avoiding the ditsy girl Uther assigned for her.
"Where are you going? Do you need me to get a horse? Guinevere is coming, should I?" Ruelle sucked in a sharp breath after meeting the eyes of a amused Arthur.
"I'm going on a trip, you may have the day off, to enjoy yourself." Ruelle said calmly.
"O-okay sure, of course thank you my lady! I can do that- why do you have a sword?" Martha questioned loudly causing Arthur to waltz over to her and look at the sword attached to the side of her horse.
"That's a good question. Why do you have a sword Lady Ruelle?" Arthur asked cockily empathising on the word Lady. Making Rues face drop into a scowl. She looked over at Morgana.
"I'll meet you outside the city walls."
"Wait a minute I order you-"
"Yah!" Ruelle tapped her horse and sprung off past the guards, her chestnut horse galloping away and out of sight, trying to not knock anyone over.
