Chapter 15

RILEY'S POV

It's Saturday, which officially makes it Del's birthday. I'm truly counting on Luke not to screw up. If he does something wrong, my mind will say I told you so.

Del's currently asleep, and the guys and I are currently getting into our green frog costumes. Well all except Luke.

"Ahh, why'd I agree to this again?" Calum asks, while struggling into his costume.

"Oh I don't know, maybe because you don't want her to cry?" I snap sarcastically.

"Woah Ry babe calm down okay, I was joking." Calum says with a slight frown.

Mikey walks towards me and wraps me into one of those amazing hugs. He kisses my forehead and continues to hug me.

"Hey, what's wrong?" He murmurs.

"I just don't want Luke to screw up." I say quietly.

"Hey, it'll be just fine. She'll smile that great smile and beautiful as she always is." He says while smiling down at me.

"Are you sure we're still talking about Del here?" I say while chuckling.

"Mmm maybe." He says, joining me with the chuckles.

"Uhh guys, I hate to break up your little moment but I'm a bit stuck here." Calum groans.

So after about 15 minutes of shoving Calum into the costume, we are ready to wake up Del with our costumes.

We head upstairs and quietly enter her room. We tiptoe towards her bed where she's still asleep. Ashton takes out the camera and Calum gets the balloons from the closet? Woah there.

"One...two...three." I mumble.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEL!" We scream.

She jolts awake with at first a look of surprise, then confusion, and lastly happiness. She engulfs us all into a hug on top of her bed.

After all that business we head downstairs towards the kitchen where we have prepared here breakfast.

Everything was green except the food, which would have been bad. Green bacon, green pancakes and green orange juice would have made us all sick.

Her party is supposed to begin at 4:30 sharp, was what I had told Luke.

I then receive a text message, due to the jingle of my phone. I look down at it and it reads.

Aliya: hey ry, are you doing anything special for del's birthday?

What? Wasn't she informed about the party?

Me: didn't luke tell you about the party? or at least annie?

Aliya: nope neither of us, actually.

There could only an explanation to this confusion,

Luke didn't plan a party.
