Chapter 8

Riley's POV

I refuse to turn around. I also refuse to look at Ashton. I just look at my hands and refuse to look up.

"Ry.." Luke says sitting down in front of me.

I still don't look up, I begin fiddling with my fingers and my heart pounds like crazy. I swallow the lump in my throat and still don't look up.

"Riley..look at me" he says reaching for my chin.

I swat his hand away and get up from the chair still not making eye contact with either of them.

I turn on my heels and walk casually out of the restaurant. As soon as I'm out of the building I begin running. I run and don't turn back no matter how loud they scream my name and for me to stop.

LUKE'S POV
Riley runs away and I get up to go after her. Mikey stops me though.

"Look mate, let her go for now. She needs some space and time to think." He says patting my back.

I sigh and sit back down with my head in my hands. I really fucked up now. I just dumped her like it was nothing and practically threw her away. So she was pregnant when I dumped her. Wow I'm an idiot. I dumped her for the fakest bitch possible. Ronni (Veronica) was so much nicer and amazing before we had our Delilah.

Delilah. Riley's Delilah. God she probably hates me. I don't think she knows who I am though. I feel like the biggest jerk now.

I have to fix this, and I won't stop until its fixed. Thats when my phone buzzes.

Ronnie- Hey baby, I'm horny come home quick ;)

Hey, if she's horny then I must go fix it right? So I head home to go fix it.

RILEY'S POV

I made it back to Aliya's house with puffy eyes. Of course I cried, that dick was trying to get back into my life. I wasn't going to let that happen. He acts innocent and then bam he's a jerk. I wasn't going to fall for him again. Never.

I walk inside to find Delilah asleep on the couch and Aliya on her laptop on the opposite couch. I place my keys on the table and take off my jacket and shoes. I sit on the same side as Aliya to not wake Delilah.

I say nothing, just lie face down into the couch. I'm guessing Aliya gets the memo because she begins to soothe me. I didn't realize that I began to cry again. Ugh I'm such a cry baby I swear.
I find myself falling asleep and I don't fight it. I'm guessing Aliya puts a blanket on me and a pillow. She kisses my forehead and heads upstairs. Bestest Friend Ever.

ALIYA'S POV

I'm awake in bed thinking about Riley and Luke. I remember watching the news one day with Luke and his band.

*FLASHBACK* (After the break up)
Luke and his band were on the news being interviewed. They were fooling around for a while.

"So Luke, a question that is asked frequently is, if you were to have a child what would you name it?" The interviewer asks.

Luke's smile changes into pure sympathy.

"Uhh-uhm. Delilah, well if it were a girl. Delilah definitely" He says while rubbing the back of his neck.
The others have uncomfortable looks on their faces. Their eyes refuse to make contact with the camera.
Then it hits me. Riley always wanted to name her daughter Delilah...

*END OF FLASHBACK*

I turn on my side and face the wall. I know Riley probably hates the guys right now but...I needed them back together. I'll do what it takes, even if it kills me.
