No One's POV

"We have arrived ma'am" Kaylee took her headphones off when someone softly tapped her shoulder, waking her up. She rubbed her eyes, put her glasses on making her vision clearer, and looked over at the stewardess who's professionally smiling at her.

"Thank you" Kaylee said her thanks and returned a smile. She followed the other passengers who also got off the plane as her eyes wandered around the area.

She saw huge screens with foreign letters written on it. 'Ah, I really am here' she finally realized. She went to the station where the baggage were being distributed before continuing to find a place to sit. Her eyes spotted a waiting area then decided to settle there to wait for her little sister. A few minutes later she saw a familiar pair of shoes in front of her while she was re-reading her favorite book.

"You really didn't leave that behind?" the girl in front of her said, along with a sigh.

"We both know why" Kaylee replied, picking up her things, leaving the seat she occupied.

"It's like a kilogram additional to the baggage, it's somehow a waste" she looked at Kate, her sister, then glared at her.

"I carried it" she replied coldly, then walked past her.

"Why of all other books in the world, which God knows how much you've read, and that is still your favorite?" Kaylee looked at her and smiled.

"Get yourself a copy, then you'll know Kate. I guarantee you, you'll know" The guards greeted them as they got out of the airport, to which they responded with a nod and a thank you. They stood outside, bags in their hands, facing left and right searching for their ride.

"Hey kids" the two ladies both turned around to see a woman jogging her way to them.

"Hi aunt Yui" Kate and Kaylee smiled, putting their bags down. They were welcomed by two arms wrapping them together in a hug.

"Welcome to Japan ladies" Yui showed her nieces the sweetest smile that she could ever show when they broke the hug. "Let's go?" the two girls nodded helping their aunt carry the bags into the car's trunk.

Kaylee took the shotgun seat while Kate had the whole passenger's seat for her own. Yui asked the two girls to put the seatbelt on before she started the engines. Kaylee's eyes was filled by the city's glimmering lights as she silently wander what lies outside her aunt's car window.

"Like what you're seeing Lee?" Yui asked, catching her older niece's attention.

Kaylee was about to answer but her sister did it first. "She's probably day dreaming about 'what does destiny have here for me? This is a new life, I must be renewed!' kind of thing" Kaylee gave Kate a glare for her statement but the latter only chuckled then munched on the bag of Doritos that their auntie had inside the car.

Kaylee rolled her eyes. "It's already night Kate" she stated, reminding her little sister. "And don't leave crumbs on auntie's car"

"It's night dreaming then" Kate replied in a playful tone with a wide smile. Yui just laughed at the sight of the two ladies.

"C'mon you two, just enjoy the moment" Kaylee instantly drifted her eyes away from her sister and back to the window.

"I like it auntie, I like how bright it is. It's bright but it isn't blinding. Know what I mean?" Kaylee said, still amused by the city lights.

"There she goes with her metaphormic vocabulary again" Kate chimed causing Kaylee to groan in irritation.

Yui chuckled before answering her annoyed niece. "I know Lee, I very much understood" Yui smiled while focusing at the road once again.

They drove down smaller roads and passed by some small shops that are now closed. 'This place must be a beauty when the shops are still opened' Kaylee thought as they leave the intersection turning left. After a few blocks Yui stopped in front of a modern house which made Kaylee and Kate "Woah" in amazement.

"This will be our house?!" Kate asked, more like an exclaim.

Yui smiled, taking her seatbelt off. "Let's go, I already got your rooms prepared"

Kate took her seatbelt off excitedly. "You hear that!? We got rooms!" Kaylee shook her head, smiling as she watch her little sister got out of the car.

They helped each other with taking the bags out of the trunk, taking them inside one by one. Kaylee took the last bag out then closed the trunk. She looked around the area for a while, capturing the sight of the new surrounding. She sighed then decided to go inside to help them unpack.

"This is so awesome!" Kate exclaimed, throwing herself on the couch. "So soft~" Kaylee laughed before following her aunt in the kitchen.

"Where do we put our things?" Kaylee waited patiently for her aunt's answer by watching her make something. "What's that?" Kaylee asked again when her aunt handed her a mug with a green colored liquid in it.

"Taste it" Yui winked causing her niece to be even more curious about the drink.

Kaylee took a sip, her eyes widening after. "W-What's this?"

Yui brought her mug closer to the one that Kaylee is holding causing it to click. "Matcha" Kaylee's eyes sparkled as she took another sip on the mug. Then another and another until it's fully emptied. She looked at her aunt who just chuckled in response. "I see, you liked it"

Kaylee shook her head. "I loved it" she corrected.

"What are you guys drinking? Gimme" Kate peeked on what's inside the mugs but was disappointed when she learned that it's both empty. "You guys didn't give me some!" the two laughed as Yui decided to also make one for her younger niece.

"Auntie, I would like to fix these things already" Kaylee picked up the bags, facing her aunt as if she's asking for permission.

"Sure, sure. Your room is at the right side the one with the blue door. Kate's room is the one beside yours near the stairs with a green door" Kaylee nodded then went upstairs.

She opened the green door then placed Kate's bags inside. She closed the door carefully causing her to notice something. 'The door is newly painted' She walked to her room and noticed the same thing with her door. 'I think auntie painted it according to our favorite colors' She entered the room and was delighted by the arrangement. She started unpacking, putting her clothes inside the cabinet and some of her other books, that she secretly brought with her, in the shelf above her study table. After she finished unpacking, she sat on the bed, feeling how soft the cushion is.

"Finally" she stated, a smile crept on her lips. She stayed in her room for a while, memorizing the details and admiring how homey it feels. Later on she decided to go down to join her aunt and sister's noisy conversation.

The night went deeper as it's being filled with laughters and stories. Kaylee felt as if she's in a whole new world. That's when she realized 'This is my last resort in having a new life. It's too late to turn back now. Oh take good care of me, Japan'
