Kaylee's POV
I quickly covered myself with a blanket the moment I heard my door being opened, hard, bumping into the wall behind it, causing a loud bang to echo in my room.
"WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UUUUUUUUUP! SLEEPY HEAD WAKE UUUUP!" Kate yelled while playing loud rock music accompanied by a tambourine that my dear friend is tapping loudly.
"C'mon Lee get out of bed. We've been doing this for almost a week already, aren't you getting tired of resisting?" Jack said. I took the blanket off, giving them a pissed look.
"Exactly! We've been through this for almost a week now so can you guys just quit it already!? Geez you're more annoying than my stupid alarm clock" I shouted before storming out of my room.
I quickly went to the bath before they could ever catch up to me and start another annoying conversation.
After the surprise appearance of my dear friend Jackie at the family restaurant after Popipa's solo live, Auntie told us that she will be staying here for the whole summer break. I thought back then that it'd be cool but now, I don't know anymore. She and Kate replaced the job of my annoying alarm clock ever since the very first morning she stayed here. At first I thought that maybe she just wanted more time together since we haven't seen each other for almost 4 months. But when she started doing it continuously I realized 'Nope, she's just doing it for fun' and I didn't lack with informing her that I ain't that morning person that I used to be. The only reason I'm waking up early before is because I'm scared. I'm scared that maybe if I don't watch over Kate something bad will happen. But things changed, and I can already sleep with a peaceful mind already.
The moment I got out of the bath the two of them instantly blocked my way.
"What now?" I asked, still pissed from what they did.
"Your girlfriend dropped this while you're still in the bath" Jack said before they both chuckled.
"Girlfriend? Who? I don't have one yet" I replied.
"You dont have one YET eh?" They both emphasized while smiling foolishly.
"Oh shut up" I said, walking past them.
"She meant Saaya-nee-chan"Kate said, stopping me from my tracks. "She also said "Tell Kaylee this is what I promised last night" something like that" Kate continued. I instantly turned around and grabbed what Jack was holding.
"I'll get this, thanks" I said before going to my room. I locked the door then placed the paper bag on my desk. I first dressed myself before looking at what's inside the bag.
"She really took that joke seriously" I found myself smiling as I remember our conversation last night.
*Flashback*
"Auntie said that she'll bring me to her company tomorrow and I might stay there for the whole day" I said, giving Saaya a hint that I might have no time to accompany Popipa on their afternoon practice like what I always do since Summer break started.
"Is that so? Then would you like me to give you some goods? A pack snack for you two perhaps?" She asked.
"I would love to!" I replied jokingly.
"Okay! I'll stop by in the morning"
"H-Hey I was just joking. Thanks but, I'll pass"
"Eh? It's fine, take it as a treat-"
"Saaya, I know you have a lot of work in the bakery during mornings and because it's summer break, you got more. I don't wanna add to them" I interrupted. She chuckled softly, my heart skipping a beat.
