Mew

November 24th

It's been a month since I've done anything with Gulf and I haven't heard much from him.

The only thing I've seen are his photos with Ariel.

They both always have some serious expression on, but maybe that's their pose.

I mean, they're advertising the clothing so the face isn't the biggest deal.

Just a week ago, my dad called to tell us he's coming to visit in December.

He's usually busy with his business in China so we don't see him often, but he does try to visit us sometimes.

He said he wanted to come and see how we were doing. Mainly to check out my sister's boyfriend.

No matter how busy he is, he always makes sure to be able to see what our future spouses are like.

Although, the last time he came to see my sister's boyfriend, he kind of scared him away.

From then, we learned to always warn anyone we date about the things my dad is capable of doing to scare them off.

Unfortunately, I seem to be the one that scares people away more than he does.

We have an interview in two days and my mom has been telling me that she wants to come.

She's also been at the set while we were shooting TharnType The Series and most of the time, she talks with Gulf's mother.

I'm not really sure who's gonna be there with Gulf on Thursday, but I guess my mom would want to go nevertheless.

The last time my mom has seen Gulf's mother was at my graduation where a bunch of the cast came to cheer me on.

It was honestly amazing to see all of them come to an event that's not TharnType related.

I guess we all became more than just co-workers.

Since I'll be starting my PhD degree soon, I thought I would do a few enjoyable things before getting all my free time taken away by studying.

I pick up the guitar from one of the office rooms where Chopper likes to hide in and walk to the living room.

The bottom floor of my house is very open to the outside world compared to upstairs, where it doesn't have such large windows.

In every room downstairs, the sun would reflect upon the white shiny tiled floor and brighten the room. But when the sun goes down, my mother is the one that usually turns on the lights around the house. She likes to keep the house in order since I'm usually busy with work or studying.

I sit down on the couch and set my phone up on the table. Adjusting the phone, I set it at the angle where the camera can see me perfectly.

Leaning back, I place my fingers on the strings of the guitar and start playing a few chords.

I tap my feet and start playing to the beat until I hum along with the song.

After getting the hang of the song, I push off the couch and turn on the record button.

Whenever I'm free, most of the time I would play a song and post it to the fans since I think the fans and I both enjoy it.

After my first recording, I press play to listen to the song.

As I close my eyes and tap to the recording, my sister comes walking into the living room.

"Hey, can you taste these and tell me how they are?" She asks, pulling me out of the music trance.

I open my eyes and stop the recording.

"Sure." I reply, standing up and walking over to my sister.

Grabbing a cookie, I take a bite.

My sister watches as I finish the bite. "So... what do you think?"

"It's pretty good." I say, finishing the rest of the cookie.

A smile quickly appears on my sister's face. "Great! I was planning to sell and deliver cookies."

"Hmm" I hum, nodding to her words.

Once I finish the cookie, I ask, "Can you teach me how to make these? I think it'd be nice to bring Gulf some cookies."

Suddenly, she gasps. "Perfect idea! How about I teach you and Gulf to bake cookies?"

"Oh, sounds fun. Let me ask Gulf and see what he says." I reply, walking over to the table and picking up my phone.

I quickly post my video online as my sister goes to pack up the cookies she had baked.

Texting Gulf, I ask him if he would like to learn to make cookies with me.

About to place the phone back on the table so I can put my guitar away, I get an alert.

Looking at the notification, a simple word makes my heart beat faster.

"Yes." Gulf replies.

Simple and straightforward.

Just like Gulf.

The way I like him.
