I remember everything about her. Down the the last strand of DNA in her body, I knew it all. I still see those bright green eyes, their gaze always shining with glee. I remember her favorite black dress, the one with the straps and the lace skirt. I've mesmerized the stitchings in every sweater she wore with pride and excitement.
I can't forget the way her smile was always a little crooked, a little slanted. How her two front teeth were always a bright, shiny white. I knew the way she loved to style her brown hair, always in a messy bun. She claimed it was easier than any other hair do.
I always have her picture in my mind. It was the last thing I had connecting me to her. Her perfect, stunning image in my mind. I loved her more than anything.
I simply wish we had more time together.
