The store we went to was a kind of store where you could buy anything you needed. This kid needed quite a bit, so I figured we would go here.
We had gotten a couple of outfits and so I moved from the clothing part of the store to more of a decore part. The first aisle I entered was the one Elise came out of, the lamp isle. I had gotten enough time get her a proper one, so I figured this aisle would be quick and useful.
We walked down it and Elise grabbed a pink lamp while Theodora grabbed a plain black lamp with a grey lamp shade."Oh, that one's so boring! Get this one! It'll make your room pop!" Elise tried grabbing the lamp out of Theodora's hands. Theo, to my surprise, ignored Elise and placed her lamp in the cart I was pushing.
"I'm afraid I prefer this one, Ms. Elise."
"But-"
"You like this one?" I cut Elise off, nodding to Theo. "We're gonna get it."Elise began pouting. Theodora began walking a little bit closer to me, as Elise began invading her personal space. I didn't mind her being closer but I was about at my limit with this Elise bitch.
"Can I help you and your family, sir?" a store helper came up to me. Theo and I both looked at Elise before shaking our heads violently.
"She's not-"
"This red haired girl isn't mine-"
"Why would you think-"
"The girl's too annoying to be my wife-"
The store attenand blushed before apologizing. We were all talking in Japanese, so, thankfully the american girl in question didn't understand. Theo and I both sighed in annoyance at the attenand.
"Where would the paintings be?" I asked, glaring holes into ground. Theo bit her lip and Elise looked from us to the attenand. The attenand told us and we began walking. That's when it hit me. This bitch, Elise, wanted to stay. All her ass kissing was to get into my pants and try to become somewhat of a 'lover' to me. Stupid fuck wouldn't even be a friends with benifits.
"Elise," I barked, "go to the clothing section and pick an outfit for Theodora. Don't make it stupid, though," I told her.
"Hm? How come?" Elise questioned.
"Because you're a girl. Go get her something," I glared.Elise glanced at Theodora before running off. Theodora looked like she was dreading the clothes Elise was picking out. We walked a little farther before I stopped and turned to her.
"Why the hell is Elise Macintosh here in Japan?" I asked her, hoping I didn't come off as scary.
"She wants to become your wife," Theodora said with a straight face. "She told me not to get in her way but she'd kill me as her step-daughter, sir."
"Damn it," I grit my teeth. "Sorry she put you through this shit."
"It's alright, sir. I've been through worse," Theodora looked down. "Will you really buy the outfit she picks out?" she looked like she was gonna burn the outfit as soon as she saw it.
"No. I'll throw it out when she's not looking," I told my kid. "Three more days 'til she's gone. I don't want you talking to her until she goes. You don't owe her shit."
"Yes, sir. Shall I tell her that I shouldn't talk to her, per your request?" she got a small smirk on her face, one that made us look more similar.
"Yes, ma'am," I smirked back.
