We left the super store after getting a few more items. When I hesitantly asked where we were going next, Bakugou told me we were going to get me new glasses, as mine were cracked.

As he told me, I didn't speak a word to Elise, who didn't speak to me while we were in the store. She went on and on about how this outfit would suit my personality. What she picked out was a bright pink dress with a headband and black flats. It wasn't actually that bad, just not my style.

Once in the car, Rika expressed his hatred about going to the eye doctor to me, as I asked him of his opinion. Bakugou was busy with handling Elise. I figured he was planning something, as whenever he spoke to her, he acted like he actual cared about her. Or, he actual wanted her to be his wife, which probably isn't the case based on the conversation we had.

Once in the optometrist's parking lot, Rika opened the door for me again. Elise tried to pull shit again, but Rika stopped her by holding his hand up and letting me out first. I won't lie when I say I smirked a little at her bratty attitude.

We waited in the waiting room of the doctor's office for a little. Elise kept up the 'I'll be a wonderful wife act' while Bakugou put on the 'I know you will be' act. I wanted to roll my eyes, but that would be rude. Something caught my eyes on the table, where a couple magazines were.

On the front of one magazine was a man with bi-colored hair and eyes. He had a scar on his one of his eyes and was posing in what seemed to be a hero costume of his own. On the top of the magazine it read 'Pro-Hero, Shoto Todoroki, Saves Children Hospital'. Another pro? Bakugou was also a pro-hero, right?

I opened the article and it was completely dedicated to how he saved this large hospital for kids from a villain with a tornado super power. There were a few quotes from traumatized children and I decided to check out the other magazines.

I fished around on the table until I saw one that made my mind go blank and my hands shake. 'American Restaurant, Keria's Family Home, Bombed in Villain Attack. Only One Lives.'

Only One Lives.

I picked up the magazine as fast as I could. My heart pounded and my head filled with fog. It talked all about the bombing, about the villain running before being able to get caught, about how only I survived. There was even my school photo in it.

"Theo?"
I'm shaken from my fog from Bakugou. I merely looked up at him, with a expression I can't even begin to describe. "Do you need a second?" he asks me.

I'm not ashamed to say I cried in the bathroom.
