"Welcome to Gotham Park," Dick announced as they got out of the car, "The biggest park in the heart of the city, heck the whole kingdom."
"It's lovely," Wally replied.
A flash of a camera interrupted Dick's response and Wally looked over in surprise as a few people started crowding when someone yelled, "It's the Prince! Prince Richard!"
Dick put on an award winning smile as he casually spoke to few people, luckily they had spent most of the day at the mall so not too many people were out close to sunset.
"Is that Prince Wallace of Central?" someone asked.
"Yes, we're good friends," Dick replied, as Wally awkwardly waved with a bright smile.
When they finally got away from the crowd Dick smirked, "You are no good with people."
"Hey!" Wally exclaimed, "I'm great with people. Just...Gotham has quite a reputation."
"For being violent, I know," Dick sighed, "That's why you asked about our security earlier I guess."
"Yeah your lack of security is pretty concerning given the rumors about your city," Wally shrugged.
"Don't worry, the heart of Gotham Kingdom may be scary but I'll keep you safe," Dick smiled as they approached the rest of his siblings.
"Dick. Prince Wally. What took you two so long?" Tim asked innocently. Jason's eyes snapped to Dick's and a suspicious look came over his face.
"Just got caught up with some people who recognized your brother," Wally replied in an easy lie. Wally then leaned in closer to Dick and whispered, "See, I am good with people."
"Sit," Cassandra offered as there were several blankets laid about.
They all talked about their day until the sun started to set. Everyone broke off into their own little conversations until Dick and Wally could only turn to talk with each other.
"Wally, tell me something," Dick said.
"Tell you something? Why?" Wally asked.
"I'd like to know you better," Dick said, not taking his eyes off the sky.
"Well, I guess something you might like knowing is I love libraries," Wally said, "I just love the atmosphere and I read very quickly."
"I've got someplace to show you tonight then," Dick replied, saying nothing more.
Wally let it go and asked, "Tell me something about you."
"I've never been in a real relationship," Dick said somberly.
"Never had a real relationship?" Wally asked in surprise.
"Nope, had lots of flings and one night stands of course. But nothing real, never a first date or anything," Dick said, "So I really like romance movies instead." Wally chuckled at the last part.
"Well," Wally suggested and leaned in to whisper in Dick's ear, "You can all today our first date."
"Is this really going to count?" Dick asked, "I mean we already determined this was just like a fling while you're here for a few months."
"We don't have to treat it as a fling though. There can be more than just making out and uh, yknow," Wally sheepishly replied.
"Okay," Dick said with a smile before adding, "But making out and all is still going to be a part of it."
"Wouldn't be fun without it," Wally replied, sliding closer to Dick as the sky got dimmer and dimmer.
"We're totally making out in the car after this," Dick whispered, right before standing up to convince his siblings everyone should leave soon now that the sun was down.
Wally stay sitting for a moment with a heavy blush before he jumped up to follow everyone to their respective cars.
