Jaclyn has been sending me photos of her wearing shoes everyday. She recorded herself wearing shoes and send it to me to prove that she's listening to me. She's been doing this for the past week. Her ankle is getting better and better because she's taking the medicine and constantly getting her bandage change.

I put my phone into my pocket and proceed to continue my work. Today, I have a lot of patients getting their monthly check ups so I've been working non-stop since 7am until 10pm. I walked out from my office and saw Jaclyn sitting on the chair in front of my office.

She turned to me and she got up immediately. She was wearing her shoes and I raised my eyebrows looking at her. "What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I was just.. uhm.. I changed my bandages earlier.." She said pointing at her ankle. "Why don't you go home?" I asked.

"I was uhmm thinking about.. eating hotpot.. it's a 24 hours hotpot right.. I was wondering if you.. you know want to come with me." She said nervously and I checked the time right now.

"You don't have work tomorrow?"

"I have but.. I kinda miss you so.."

"Let's go then.." I said and her eyes lit up immediately. She didn't expect me to agree with her right away. We walked together and I noticed that she walked just fine right now.

"I never wear heels." She said reminding me that she listens to me.

"You send me those pictures."

"Yes, I mean.. I listened to you. I never wear heels until you allowed me to." She said and I tried my best not to smile at this moment. She's too adorable right now and I tried to hold myself back from trying to hug and kiss her at this moment.

"I told my dad too that I won't drive my cars anymore and besides he gave me two sets of bodyguards to watch me all the time."

"I don't see them."

"That's them.." She pointed at the two people behind us. They're disguised as an ordinary person and it's smart of them and her dad to do that.

"I won't race again too. I really mean it. The race that you saw back then was my last race, I did it because I promised myself that I want to be with you and I don't want you to worry me. I thought you won't find out because I planned it.. uhmm perfectly."

"So you planned not to tell me that you raced?"

"Yes because I don't want you to worry besides I swore to myself that it would be the last. I'm serious with you. I can't find any other person in this world to be with me other than you." She said as we walked out from the hospital. I decided not to respond to that.

I was serious about our relationship too. I know I was slowly falling for her and I like her a lot. She changed me in a lot of aspect too and I love the change. We walked together to the hotpot place and she even asked her bodyguards to eat too by sitting on another table.

I ordered the food like usual and I turned to Jaclyn. She's already looking at me smiling. I leaned back to the seat and she bit her lips.

"I.. uhm.." She started to look away.

"You ankle is fine now?" I asked to reduce her nervousness.

"Yes, it's fine." She answered and I wanted to listen what she's trying to say. I felt like she's now battling with whatever inside her her right now.

"I'm sorry for what I did. I know it's unforgivable but I swear I will completely stop. I'm done racing." She said and I raised my eyebrows.

"Please take me back." She said in a small tone.

"What if you end up.. racing again? I have my ways to know, Jaclyn."

"I won't. I swear.. I won't." She said as she raised her hand. "I won't race again. You can leave me for good if I do." She said boldly.

"I mean.. that's extreme but yeah. I can assure you that I won't race again. I swear that I won't do it again. I won't do it since you hate it so much. I promise.. seriously."

"Really?" I narrowed my eyes on her and she nodded.

"I'm serious."

"What if I don't want to take you back?" I asked and her face turned sad in a split second. She looked down to the table and she bit her lips.

"I really can't live without you anymore." She mumbled.

"What?"

"I can't live without you anymore." She said louder as she looked up to me.

"Is that so?"

"Yes.. it's been 3 weeks and I'm living in hell already. I'm dying." She pouted looking at me.

"I'll think about it."

"How long?"

"I don't know."

"Tomorrow?"

"Too short."

"Uhmm two days?"

"Still too short."

"Three days?"

"Nope.. I need more time."

"Three days 12 hours?"

"Jaclyn.." I looked at her disbelief.

"Fine. Take your time but please don't be too long. I'm dying.. you know.." She said pointing at her heart and I shook my head disbelief. She's acting dramatic and she's adorable.

The food came and we let the soup to boil first. I put the vegetables in and then put some meat inside. We both eat in silence but I was actually paying attention to her.

"How's work these days?" I asked.

"Busy.. but can't concentrate. I made a lot of mistakes."

"Like what?"

"You don't want to know. You will call me dumb and start a whole ass lecture for me." She sighed.

"Interesting."

"I guess.. you're doing okay. I mean.. I certainly can't live without you but you'll be okay without me." That's not true. She's totally wrong but she doesn't need to know that for now. I've been drinking a lot and that's not healthy.

"You'll come to Mia's birthday party next week?" I asked.

"Yes, why?"

"I'll give my answer to you there."

"Really?"

"Yeah.. but don't expect too much." I warned and she nodded weakly. The answer will be yes but let's see if she can handle herself till then. I want to know because this woman is hard to handle. I don't want her to repeat the same mistakes again.
