The school itself was beautiful. He'd driven to the address his father gave him, not entirely sold on the idea, but accepting the fact that there was no way out. The first person he saw was Principal John. Of course, he wasn't as menacing as the suit made him out to be.

"Mr. Hummel?"

Kurt nodded timidly. In John's office, John gave Kurt his schedule. It was simple: Math, Language, Home Economics, Science, History, and then dorm. It was simple until he got to dorm.

"Your roommate..."

Kurt hoped whoever it was knew how to take a hint. Anyone with a brain could tell Kurt wasn't the chatterbox.

"I'll see you tomorrow!"John called.

Kurt flinched, nearly tripping over his suitcases in the process.

What? He thought.

He missed what John had said completely. He checked his phone to find that it was 4pm, and quickly rushed out of there. It took a few laps around the school to realize the dorms were in a completely different building. His schedule in hand, he tried his best to follow the directions. He didn't know where he was going and was starting to panic.

It's not that hard, Kurt! He thought. 3B! How hard is that!?

He went up the stairwell to the second set of rooms marked 'B.' As soon as he saw the number  3, he ran inside and slammed the door shut behind him. He stood with his hands pressed against the door and his eyes closed, trying to rid his brain of what seemed like a maze. A few seconds later, he opened his eyes again to see what would be his home for the next year or so.

The beds were separated only by a small table with a lamp on it. There was a desk in the corner, a mini fridge, and two dressers. He wandered over to one of them to find blazers, pants, and a lot of hair gel.

Who uses that much hair gel!?

He quickly shut the drawer, knowing that it was probably for his roommate. When he made his way over to the other dresser, he heard someone opening the door. His initial response was to flinch again, but afterwards he realized it was taking the person a good thirty seconds to open the door. In that time frame, he grabbed the metal box from his suitcase and shoved it into his satchel.

"Nick, tell your boyfriend the essay actually is due tomorrow! He owes me five dollars!"

"Fine, fine! But he's not my boyfriend!"

"Uh huh. Sure!"

When Kurt first saw him, he lost the use of words. Of course they would put him with the hottest guy he'd ever seen just to make it harder for him to suppress the urge further! He wore a blue blazer with red piping and a lot of hair gel. His latest question had been answered.

Was this chapter short? Did I lave you with a cliffhanger? Are you probably mad at me?
