Kurt didn't normally drink. He believed that it was a repulsive coping mechanism for pain. That is, until he actually saw the affects of it on someone. Watching Nick and Jeff was interesting.

They danced wildly with each other. Blaine didn't have that much to drink, but he wasn't entirely himself. Sometimes he would zone out, or randomly freak out when he couldn't see Kurt.

That was what had worried Kurt. The way Blaine acted when he was out of sight. Someone had given him a dark pink drink which he hadn't taken a single sip of.

He was beginning to wonder if he should. Just to give it a taste. He knew it wasn't supposed to taste good, but he also knew it would most likely distract the human brain from reality.

Still, that didn't seem like such a terrible thing. He only wanted a sip, anyway. Just enough to where he could put worries aside and have fun. That idea didn't go as planned.

Kurt couldn't believe it when he found himself agreeing with others that the drinks tasted like colors. It was fun, to say in the least. He could care less about who he offended or what he said. He was free and if felt amazing.

***********

He crashed and burned pretty quickly. Kurt, between drunken giggling, called a taxi only for it to drive them two feet to their dorm. In hindsight, he could've thought that through.

"Hey, Blaine?" Kurt whispered when they were home. "How is obesity and world hunger a problem at the same time?"

Kurt had insisted on Blaine sitting next to him, which later tuned into Blaine supporting him. Blaine looked confused for a moment before shrugging.

"Our society is weird..." he said.

"Our society is fucked up."

Blaine was blinked twice. What Kurt had said didn't sound like him at all. Blaine couldn't help but wonder if there was something more to it. Kurt had been acting strange since Monday.

"Kurt?"

Kurt stared off into the distance, seemingly angry about something and he wouldn't respond. His anger melted into sadness and he started to cry.

"You're gay, right Blaine?"

Blaine watched Kurt's emotions heighten. He slowly nodded, slightly afraid of the outcome of his words.

"Me, too."

Blaine nodded again, unsure of what it meant. He was quite possibly the first person Kurt came out to. Though he was drunk, and he probably had no idea what he was saying.

"You're cute."

Blaine smiled when Kurt said that. Kurt made him feel differently than most. Others had come out to him first, others had called him cute, but none of them made him feel this honored.

He couldn't believe he had Kurt like this. He could probably get Kurt to explain the blades he'd seen, or why he was crying. Maybe that wasn't the smartest way to get things out of him, but it still crossed his mind.

What Kurt said next caused Blaine's breathing to hitch. He only wished Kurt had stayed awake so they could talk about it. Blaine had so many questions and he may never get the answers.

"I like you, Blaine."
