Chapter 4

*At Taco Bell*

Jaden POV

I walked inside and looked around to see if I saw Tye already here.

I didn't see him so I decided to order 4 tacos. Two for me two for him.

I also ordered 2 Mountain Dews.

Right when I picked up the tray with the food on it, Tye walks in. And in came a girl behind him.

Him and the mystery girl followed me to the booth.

Tye: I'm sorry I'm a little late. My girlfriend wanted to come along. She wanted some Taco Bell.

Tye: Becky this is Jaden. Jaden this is Becky.

Jaden POV

Girlfriend...oh so he's taken...

Jaden: Nice to meet you and that's fine...but I only bought a snack for two.

Tye: Here baby take mine.

Tye grabbed the 2 tacos and the drink and handed it to her.

Becky: Thanks, and its nice to meet you too.

Becky: I'll be back. I need to go to the restroom.

Becky got up and walked off.

Tye: Look, I'm sorry. She wanted to come.

Jaden: It's fine. I just thought,  you know...it'd be just me and you.

Tye: I like you actually...

Jaden: I like you too.

Tye started to lean over and kiss me, but Becky came back in like 2 seconds.

Becky: So, what'd I miss?

Tye: Oh nothing, just discussing some ideas for the project.

I took out my notebook.

Jaden: Romeo & Juliet were so serious. Lets make ours into a comedy.

Tye: Good idea

Becky: Tye, I'm gonna order the soft shelled 12 pack to take back

Tye: Go ahead.

Becky got up once more and headed toward the front to the long line.

Tye then inturrupted me when I was quoting more ideas I thought would be amusing.

Tye: So...can maybe I like...get your number?

Jaden: Sure.

We exchanged numbers and worked as if nothing had happened afterwards.

We stayed there for another hour and.fifteen minutes writing out our script.

Next we'll probably revise it if necessary and go pick up some props this weekend.

We told each other goodnight and got up to leave.

I walked out to my car and got inside and sped off.

When I got home I took another shower and did my other hygiene and put on a tight fitting white T-shirt and some black shorts.

I decided to leave my hair curly and wavy tonight with a bandana tied like Tupac's.

I then went downstairs and noticed no one was here.

I'm guessing my step dad left too for a few days.

I went upstairs and put on some high knee Nike socks and my black converse. Just in case because I might go in a second. But until then, I have to call up my old friend Kayla.

She answered on the 3rd ring.

*Phone Convo*

Kayla: JADENNNN!

Jaden: KAYLAAAA!

Kayla: Oh my gosh girl it's been forever. What have you been up to?

Jaden: Nothing actually. Except for Char's dumb ass was kissing my step dad on her couch the other day. I think that's the reason my mom left this week. She just said she needed to clear her head so I'm guessing that's why.

Kayla: I always knew she was a little ehh..

Jaden: I know. But anyways there's these 2 guys...

Jaden: One is Roc Royal...you know the famous one from MB?

Kayla: Oh yeah! Go ahead girl! You got a fine famous boy after you! You better take it.

Jaden: I mean...my feelings aren't just there yet. He's been nice to me, but I always act like a snob towards him. Then...there's this guy. His name is Tye. I mean he's cute.and all. But, he's just my project partner for this Romeo and Juliet thing for school. He asked for my number and almost kissed me when his girlfriend wasn't looking, but I'm receiving mixed emotions from him. Like he cares about his girlfriend but he.wants to flirt with me also.

Kayla: Maybe you should leave it alone until they break up at least and that is if they do.

Jaden: You're right.

Jaden: Hey, we're gonna hang out this weekend ok. So don't make any plans. Its been way too long since we kicked it.

Kayla: I know right! And I'm down for it. If you and these guys don't work out you know I have connections with some sexy ass boys girl!

Jaden: Oh my gosh. Girl you too much but I might take you up on that. Bye hun.

Kayla: Bye!

*End of convo*

Hmm...I wonder if Roc is up. And I wonder what he's thinking about. He has those brown chocolate eyes and those teeth ughh! And his smile is just beautiful. His curly hair...I just wanna twist them in between my fingertips.

I may have a small crush. Who knows?
