Chapter 21

Jaden POV

3 Months Later...

I was looking in the mirror at myself. I looked so beautiful in my white, long, extravagant dress. I was talking to my dad even though he wasn't there.

Jaden: And today, I know... I know you would have been so happy and sad at the same time to walk me down the aisle. But, Ray is going to walk me down the aisle today dad. I know you're up there smiling down on me and Teonie. I just know... that one day... I will see you again. I love you.

A tear rolled down my cheek, but I wiped it off and grabbed my bouquet of flowers. I had an all white wedding. Everyone wore white and everything was white.

Even my bouquet was white.

I slipped on my tiara over my long wavy hair that was attached to my veil.

I was looking at myself once more in the mirror when I heard a knock on the door.

Jaden: If you're Roc, go away. It's bad luck to see me!

?: Nigga shut up. It's me Ray.

Jaden: Well come in 'Nigga'.

Ray walked in and examined me.

Ray: You look beautiful sis. You really do.

Jaden: Aww thank you!

I then heard the organ play 'Here Comes The Bride'.

Ray: Well, you ready to get married?

Jaden: Ready as I'll ever be. Let's do this.

I intertwined my arm with Ray's as we walked to the door and the ushers opened them wide for me.

Ray and I walked down the aisle.

I was looking happy as ever and Ray kept his normal composure.

I smiled at everyone as I looked straight seeing Roc standing at the alter waiting for me.

I noticed how many people were here. All of my friends from California and New York were here, along with some family and all of Roc's family and friends. Even his celebrity friends were here.

I soon reached the front of the church and everyone took their seats.

Preacher: Who giveth this woman away?

Ray: I do.

Ray smiled and hugged me as he took his seat on the first row.

Preacher: If anyone sees any reason why these two should not be together speak now or forever hold your peace.

I looked around hoping nobody's crazy ass jumped up.

Even Ashley was here, if I didn't mention. Fortunately, she sat down like a civilized person and didn't say shit before I had to sock her ass.

Preacher: Chresanto Romelo August, do you take Jaden Marie Smith to be your lawful wedded wife? To love, hold, and cherish in sickness and in health, for better or worse, for richer or poorer?

Roc: I do.

Preacher: Jaden Marie Smith, do you take Chresanto Romelo August to be your lawful wedded husband, to love, hold, and cherish in sickness and in health, for better or worse, for richer or poorer?

Jaden: I do.

Preacher: I hereby declare you husband and wife. Chresanto Romelo August you may kiss your bride.

I smiled big as Roc grabbed my waist and passionately kissed me on the lips as I wrapped my arms around his neck.

We pulled back and held each other's hand.

Preacher: I present to you, Mr. And Mrs. August.

Me and Roc held Teonie in the middle of us and ran down the isle together.

I can't believe I'm finally married to the love of my life.

Teonie was smiling hard also, I guess she was just as happy as her mommy.
This is a new beginning and I can't wait to start it as a family.

Author's Note: Well, you guys, this is the first book. There will be a second book releasing tonight. It will show everyone 3 years later. There will be 2 more books to this story. Yes, it will be a whole series! The next book will be called "The Mindless Things (Sequel)'' & the final book will be "Forever Mindless"
