"You brought here here?" Kie yelled, "So what? She's in on this now?" She put her hands up. Yikes, she's pissed. "Look, all I care about is her cut comes out of your share" JJ spoke up pointing to John B. "You know I don't remember taking a vote. This is our thing. A pogue thing" She said, her face falling.

"I gotta say, I'm just a tad uncomfortable with all of this" Pope said, "when are you not?" I snorted, resulted in him flipping me off, "I dunno. I rode here on the back of JJ's bike pretty comfortably" Pope said, "It's true. Most relaxed I've ever seen him" JJ agreed. "That's cute, guys. You know we were all extremely comfortable until you brought her" Kie said, not dropping the Sarah subject.

"Stop talking about me like I'm not here!" Sarah raised her voice, "then leave" Kie opened the door for her. "I told you" Sarah scoffed, "Told him what, exactly?" Kie crossed her arms, looking like she was about to pounce on her, "that you're a liar?" "No, that you're a shit-talking bitch!" She snapped,

"Oh shit" JJ and I both mumbled, "My money's on Kie" JJ leaned into Pope, pulling out a stack of money.

"Everybody shut up!" John yelled, "Kie, you are my best friend, right?" he looked at her, "Amd Sarah..you're uh..you're my-" "Say it" she smiled at him, "You're my girlfriend."

"Oh, that's new" I sarcastically spoke, "She's your girlfriend now?" Kie scoffed, "What was all that talk about you were just using her for information?" Sarah furrowed her brows, looking to JB.

"Get a map, cut her lose" Kie continued.

"You said you were using me?" Sarah spoke up, "No" "Yeah, you did" Pope said matter-of-factly.

"Look love just walked in, okay?" "Oh, vomit" JJ muttered.

"I didn't expect it. It just—it just kind of happened" He smiled down at the Kook. "And I'm not going to deny it" "Oh! That's corny" Pope whispered.

"If she's in then I'm out" Kie stood her ground, "You're gonna decide" "I'm very interested, actually. Me or her?"

"Ooh" Pope said looking between the three, "he went for the Hail Mary" JJ whistled, making me laugh and hit his shoulder lightly.

"Four, three..okay.." I mumbled, punching in the numbers of my dad's safe. I needed the money to pay Barry back, If I didn't Chloe would get wrapped up in this. She didn't deserve that at all, I was going to fix this.

The safe beeped when I got the code right, I opened it and pulled out a stack. I let a breathe of relief out and closed the case.

"Checking the time?" My dad spoke, I jumped slightly, not knowing he was standing there the whole time.

I sat with Kie in the dock. She stored out after Sarah left and I needed to be there for her.

"I hate John B, right now" She mumbled as Pope sat down next to us. "Look, it's just because I know how this ends. I've seen this movie" She mumbled, wiping a tear away.
