"Aren't you glad I made you come" Kie smiled, opening her lawn chair. "Ecstatic" Pope responded very sarcastically, "my couch was pretty comfy, I'll be honest" JJ responded pouting. I laughed, sticking my tongue out at both boys. "ignore them, thank you Kie for getting us out the house" I smiled.

"We're out of the green zone, man" Pope panicked, "Dude, tranquilo, okay?" JJ snapped him out of his panic, "We're in the middle of Kooklandia" he said looking around at the teens around us. "This is the last place I wanted to be" He whined, "shut up Pope" I whispered, following Kie to get drinks.

"Four pepsis please" She smiled, we watched as the guy behind the counter poured us drinks. I took two and walked back to the guys. Kie stayed to get ours. "Just saw Rafe, and he said, and I quote, "Tell your boy that we know what he did." "He's here" I said sinking down in my chair , "Great, the whole death squad. Ah!" Pope said turning his head behind us. "Don't stare, bro" JJ grabbed his chin moving back to us.

"If they corner me, I'm coming out swinging, okay?" JJ started, "-- Slicin' and dicin'. I'm on edge right now" he said looking at Pope and me, making me snort a laugh.

"Guys what the hell are you talking about?" Kie questioned, giving the two boys a look. I shrugged, as the movie started. "Kie, it might go down tonight" "what did y'all do" she groaned.

Pope and JJ got up a little into the movie, "where y'all going?" Kie asked, "we gotta wring it out" JJ whispered, "you gonna hold it for each other?" I snickered, making JJ give me a glare.

"those idiots have been gone for forever" I said, looking around for them. "they went towards the tree" Kie spoke, we crouch walked so we wouldn't get in the way of the screen for the people behind us.

"holy shit" Kiara yelled. JJ and Pope were fighting with the three kooks. I panicked not knowing what to do as Kie ran to Pope for help. Topper continuously punched JJ in the stomach. I ran over throwing a punch to the side of Topper's head. "Fuck Chloe" he shoved me to the side, "Topper fucking stop" I tried shoving him away. "Chloe you don't wanna get hurt, leave" Rafe yelled at me, "now" he continued. "I'm helping my friends" I screamed back, my attention taken away from Topper and JJ.

In that second, JJ broke free from Topper's grip around his neck and sent him flying back into me. Topper crashing into me and sending both of us to the ground, I hissed as my head hit the ground, "chlo" Rafe stepped towards me, helping me up. I resisted against him, I didn't need his help. I held my head as it hurt really bad, Rafe held my arm "you okay" I shook my head,

The screen behind us caught fire.

"Guys let's go" Topper and Kelce yelled towards Rafe, not noticing him with me.

As well as everyone watching the movie, we ran to safety.

"You okay?" I asked JJ and Pope as Kie drove us back to the chateau "yeah" they both groaned out. We all spent the night here; I laid my head in JJ's lap as Kie tended to our injuries. "Idiots" She whispered giving Pope an ice pack. "Love you Kie" we all mumbled to her and she rolled her eyes.

The next morning, with still no sign of John B, the four of us hung out at Heyward's.

"Hey, Pope, someone here to see you" His dad walked in, "Evening officer" Pope gulped, I tensed knowing what might happen. "I have an arrest warrant for felony destruction of property" Deputy spoke, my breathe hitched. "Woah. Shoupe, what did he do?" Heyward threw his apron down, "look at the warrant" "you're arresting him?" I moved closer to them, JJ grabbing my arm, "young lady, out of my way."

"..you have the right to an attorney." JJ interrupted once they were outside, "How much did they pay you, man" "JJ" I tried getting him to step back. Kie was hysterical and confused as fuck.

They continued to argue and try to get Shoupe to not arrest him.

"It wasn't him!" JJ yelled, I whipped my head towards JJ, "It was me. He tried to talk me out of it, but I was man because he'd just been beaten up" Shoupe looked over at JJ, "I cant let you take the blame for something I did" JJ looked at Pope, "you've got too much to lose."

"I took his old man's boat, too" "what the hell?" Heyward responded, in a moment like that it would've made me laugh but now we were just scared.

"JJ" I cried out as Shoupe confessed to something he didn't do, "Chlo, I'll be fine" he reassured me.

 
"SHIT!" Pope yelled out as the cop car drove away with JJ in cuffs.
