"So you guys stranded them on the boat so they could make up?" I stared between them, "yep while you were running around macking the kook, we fixed a relationship" JJ smirked, I flipped him off in return.

"We'll get them back" Sarah said patting John B on the shoulder.

"Okay, wait, I wanna say thank you, guys. Seriously. It means a lot to me that you're here tonight." John B turned to us once we arrived to creepy Crain's. "Always" Pope said, "we got you man" JJ replied,

"Rafe was busy" I pouted, "..So i'm here" I joked, "thanks Chloe, love you too!" he rolled his eyes, stepping out the car.

"Let's get that wheat in the water" Pope said stepping out the van, "Weed? I'm up for weed" JJ raised his hand, "Wheat. I said wheat" Pope clarified.

We walked through the creepy forest she had going on to get to her house, "It's creepier at night" I whispered, as we neared the front.

"Shit, shit, shit flashlights" John B muttered, "It's on strobe!" JJ said, "okay so she has motion sensor lights" I whispered, "We could, uh...move really slowly, maybe?" JJ questioned, "what?" I snickered, "That's not how it works" Pope said. "Oh, shit. Let's throw a rock at it" "what?" Pope gave John B a dumb look.

"That's a really good idea. Let the axe murderer know that we're here" I whispered, "throw a rock at it?" "you got a better idea?" he looked at me, "literally anything but that" Pope said. "What about the breaker? In the circuit box on the porch?" Kie said, poking her head up from the bush we were hiding behind. "We used to play hide and seek here as kids, and if we were brave enough, we'd go all the way up to the porch" Sarah added, "Ive seen it."

"No, no. you're not going in there alone" "relax, us three will go" Kie whispered, "Crain chops people into pieces" JJ said, "thanks JJ for putting that in my head" I slapped the back of his head. The girls got up and slowly crouched towards the front porch, "Hey! Be safe" John B grabbed Sarah's arm. "we will" she smiled at him.

"Be safe" JJ snickered, I'll be so safe" Pope said to JJ, "I'll be safe for you" "Can you guys stop? Stop!" John B whispered, "I'm gonna kill you" "But how would that keep us safe?" "Hey, ship up!" I said from the steps, hearing them at the bush.

"She must have a generator plugged into the main power supply" Sarah spoke, looking around the porch. "Where they at?" I said, not seeing anything. "Oh fuck" Kie said, looking at a wire. "No, no, no" She mumbled, "it goes inside" Sarah groaned.

We slowly crept through the creaking house, finding the power switches. Hopefully the guys were on the move so we could get the fuck out of here.

We heard a wheeze and cough from upstairs, some floorboards creaking.

"Y'all heard that??" I panicked, "fuck let's leave now" I said, my heart starting to beat faster. We were huddled up together, flashing our lights trying to find a way out, without running into Crain.

"It's—it's late, Leon" we heard a raspy voice call out, followed by thumping upstairs, "we're dead, she's going to kill us" I panicked, "shh" Kie and Sarah shushed me. "I hear you Leon" Mrs. Crain spoke, "Ive been waiting all night?" she coughed, "whos Leon" I mumbled, confused, totally off topic.

Sarah shrieked as Crain came around the corner, Kie shouting a quick "Go!" and then we booked it running to find an exit. "Leon!" Crain screeches after us, "shit, shit" Kie panics, "Where are you Leon?" we hear Crain rasp out. I ran towards a door, there were wooden plants nailed to it. I tried pulling them off, successful with only one that was loose. "Chloe this way" Sarah shoved me in the direction they were going, we ran into a room and shut the door quickly. We all stood trying to catch our breathes, I was so nausea from the running and the anxiety kicking in.

We screamed as Crain smashed through the door with a fire poker, "This way! It goes underneath the house!" Sarah shouted as we ran. "Go! Go! Guys" Kie yelled as we got to the basement, "Woah what's wrong" JJ said, grabbing onto my arm, "Crain- Crain's trying time kill us" I said, trying to take my breathe. "We gotta go, we locked her in the parlor" Kie rushed.

"Okay, code red!" Pope said, "Let's go John B! Get back on, man" he said, grabbing the rope.

"Hold on, man! I'm coming!" he yelled up the hole, "Come one!" Sarah yelled, everyone following to help pull JB up. We heard JB yelling something but it all sounded like mumbles from where we were, "what's he saying?" JJ said looking at us.

I can hear Crain wheezing and getting closer to us. "Guys, it's now or never, John B!" I called out, we felt a tug up the rope and we pulled to get him up. "Pull!" Pope shouts, then a gunshot echos out, "Oh fuck, hurry" I yelled, "Shit hang on!" JJ shouted, pulling the rope up even more.

"Climb up!" JJ yelled as he grabbed John B's arm, "Help me!" he said to the rest of us, more gunshots rang out as Crain was blindly shooting, literally. "She can't aim for shit!" Kie yells, "In this instance, I'm not complaining, she can't see!" I yelled back, rushing to get under a table.

JJ, John B, and I were hiding under a table blocking anything from hitting us. "JJ" I screamed as I heard a gunshot right next to us, both guys had their bodies covering mine so I wouldn't get shot. "Go! Go!" JJ yelled, pushing us to get out the basement.

"Get into the car!" Sarah panted, running after Kie. We were behind them a few feet. We continued to hear gunshots but none of us could see Crain form the dark. JJ started the car and sped the fuck out of dodge, "I hated that, she almost blew our heads off!" I let out a breathe, "god, you smell like ass" Kie said making a face, "All-time Pogue Hall of Fame, baby!" JJ said excitedly, hitting the steering wheel a few times. "Hell yeah!" Kie smiled.

"How did she move around that fast" "She's blind" Sarah said, "Like Master Yoda" Pope replied, making me give him a what the hell face, "Wait JB, what?" I said pointing to what he had in his hands. Whatever it was, it was covered in dirt.

"No, you didn't!" Sarah mumbled, "Is that??" "I did it!" "Oh my god!" We all shouted, "Thats Gold!!" John B says, smiling wide at the golden, dirty rectangle.

"Guys were gonna be rich!!" He shouts, "Full Kook!"

"Full Kook, Full Kook, Full Kook, Full Kook!" We all started chanting out.
