Chapter 17 Axe of Confidence (Part 3)

The snow fairies and other snow animals quickly moved Yugi and the others to the castle. They slowly warmed up by the warm soup and blankets as well as the heating stoned warmed their bodies under the blankets.

Soon a few woke up. Dylan, Ami, Yami, and Heba.

Ami weakly sat up. "Where...where are we...."

Yami's eyes looked around before he starts to panic. "Yugi....Yugi?! Where is he?!?"

"Don't panic. The Prince of Light is in a different room. He was almost frozen to death so we had to move him somewhere warmer." Snow Flurry said as she flew in.

"I need to see him. Please...he's my precious treasure.....I need to know he's ok..." Yami begged which surprised his other friends.

Snow Flurry nods her head. "You may follow me." Yami weakly got up as he follows Snow Flurry.

Snow Flurry showed Yami to Yugi's room. His room was warmer than the one Yami woke up in.

Yami stumbled in and to the bed as he fell to his knees as he gently touched Yugi's cheek.

Yugi laid on a bed with his eyes closed and his breathing even. He wasn't blue anymore and wasn't cold to the touch. He looked as if he was sleeping.

"Oh thank Ra..My Yugi ..." Yami breathes as he gently climbed beside Yugi as his forehead rested against Yugi's. Yami hugs and kisses Yugi's face tenderly as he pulls back and smiles.

Yugi sighs and slowly opens his eyes. "Yami..." Yugi whispers. "Are you feeling okay?" He asks weakly.

"I'm fine...oh Yugi...I thought I lost you...Yugi I love you...please don't leave me...I can't live without you."

Yugi smiles and places his hand weakly on Yami's cheek. "I promise Yami. I love you too."

Yami leaned into Yugi's hand as he lightly kissed Yugi's palm.

Yugi stokes Yami's cheek before going back to sleep.

"The Light Prince is still weak. It will be best he rest." Snow Flurry said softly. Yami nods as he pulls Yugi onto his chest. "Yes I agree..and I'm not leaving him so please don't make me." Yami said just as softly as he watched Yugi sleep. His eyes full of love and devotion..and desire.

Snow Flurry nods her head and flies out of the room to the others.

Heba rubbed his eyes as he looked at Snow Flurry. "Wait...Snow Flurry?"

The fairy waves at Heba. "Hello Heba."

"How's my favorite sister-in-law?" Heba smirks as he slowly sat up. "I'll tell Becca we saw you."

Snow Flurry smiles and nods. "I'm glad we found you guys before you died. We got there just in time for The Light Prince."

Heba nods and smiles. "Yeah if my brother had died ..." Heba's smile turned into a frown.

Snow Flurry patted Heba's shoulder. "Well Queen Perriwinkle was able to get you here safety."

Heba blinks in confusion. "Don't you mean Princess Perriwinkle?"

Snow Flurry shook her head. "No. Perriwinkle is Queen now."

Heba nods and smiled. "That's good.....wait...what about the trial for the axe of confidence....."

Dylan walks into the room with a bright blue axe in her hand. Heba blinked in shock. "The axe? They gave it to you..." "Yep. They saw my confidence and said I am able to have the axe." Dylan said swinging the axe like a pro.
