A bubbly smart girl around her mid-twenties just trying to live life. She works as a bank teller in New York City with dreams of becoming a writer someday. She has a close relationship with her parents and is sweet to everyone she meets. She also tries to appreciate the life the best she could amongst all her troubles.

*Maddox Wilde aka Dox
A man in his mid-twenties who always has his guard up in the back of his mind. Is ready for what may come at him. His big round innocent eyes are always on the alert. He first meets Lia at the bank where they work together until everyone goes haywire. He ends up being a big part of the VHO. Maddox and Lia have been close friends and were the last of her friends to chose not to become a vampire which is why they are so close. Maddox and Lia have a flirtationship.

Is part of the Argle family and is one of the oldest vampires in the clan. He has purple glowing eyes which dictates his age and is serious most of the time until he meets Lia who lightens him up by driving him crazy with wanting to run away.
