We landed at the Black Cat and went inside. We were immediately greeted by Jack, "Welcome back Emerald, Leo! I saw the dragons fly over, so I'm guessing you did it!" We smiled and nodded. I said, "Yep, no more King Adder. Now the dragons can live side by side with us." Leo then said, "We'll explain everything, but first, let us put our things away." Jack smiled, "Alright, I saved your rooms cause I knew you'd be back." We went upstairs to our rooms to put our things away.

After I finished, Leo came in asking, "You finished?" I nodded, "Yeah, but I want to see my sister one last time." I picked up the opal that I kept in my room during our journey. "Alright, I'll wait for you." He stood outside the door as I held the opal in my hand. I shut my eyes as it glowed. When I opened my eyes, the fog surrounded me again, with my sister standing in front of me. "Ruby, I did it. I got the crown." She smiled, "I know Emerald, I'm so proud of you. This is the last time we will meet like this." Tears formed in my eyes as I hugged her, "Somehow, I knew you'd say that." "Don't worry little sister, we'll see each other again someday, but for now, be happy. You've accomplished so much, you're surrounded by friends, and you've got someone who loves you dearly. You're free now to do as you wish. Goodbye, Emerald." "Goodbye, Ruby."

I shut my eyes as the opal glowed again, and when I opened my eyes, the fog and my sister were gone. I smiled and put the opal down, then opened my door to see Leo, waiting for me. He looked at me and asked, "Are you ok?" "Yeah, let's go." I took his hand and we went back downstairs together. We sat down at the bar up front as Jack came up to us with two glasses of milk. "Hey guys, I just got a message from my sister. She said that most of the servants and guards got out of the castle safely, and she thanks you for what you've done." I smiled, "That's great news! Now let us tell you about our journey." We explained everything we'd been through to him, occasionally pausing to take a drink. "Sounds like you two have been through a lot." Leo put an arm around me and kissed my cheek, "But this whole thing has brought us closer together." I nodded and smiled, looking at Leo, "It has, and I wouldn't change a thing." I pecked his lips as Jack said, "Aww, that's so cute! I'm happy for you both, you make a great couple."

We smiled at Jack as he looked at us in thought. I finally asked, "What?" "Hmm? Oh, it's nothing." Leo then said, "You can be really strange sometimes." He took a drink as Jack continued, "Well, I was just thinking about the future and wondered what your kids would look like." My eyes widen and Leo chokes on his drink at Jack's comment. I patted his back, and when he stopped coughing he said, "Whoa, slow down Jack, it's a bit early to be thinking about that." Both our faces were red as Jack laughed at us, "I'm sorry, I couldn't help wondering." We both sigh, then we suddenly heard the door open, and looked to see two familiar faces.

I blurted out, "No way! Spirit?! Soren?! What are you guys doing here?!" They looked at us and came over to us. Spirit said, "Chill out, we're just here to hang out." "We're not interested in fighting anymore." I raised a brow at them, "Really?" Spirit shrugged, "Now that the king's gone, we don't take orders anymore, you did us a favor." They both nodded a thanks and went over to a table, chatting with each other. Leo looked at me, "At least we don't have any enemies now." "What a relief." He chuckled, and after we finished our drinks, I asked, "What now?" He thought for a moment, then said, "We could always take a walk, just the two of us." Jack came over asking, "You got something romantic planned Leo?" He chuckled, "Maybe. What do you say, Emmy?" I smiled, "Alright. And maybe tomorrow we can go see Buck, Alice, and cerberus again." He nodded, "Of course." "Love you, Leo." "Love you too, Emmy."I kissed him, causing him to wrap his arms around me and kiss me back. Jack then interrupted, "Hey guys, save it for your walk will you?" We apologized and headed outside hand in hand.

We left Razor Beak at the stable and headed towards the town, where the dragons are now living alongside people. It would take us a little while to get there, but there's no need to rush now. Leo let go of my hand and instead, put his arm around me as we walked. "Well Emmy, now we can relax and enjoy each others company." I smiled and kissed his cheek, then replied, "Yep, I wouldn't mind going out and exploring sometimes too." He chuckled, "Anytime, I'd be glad to accompany you anywhere." He suddenly stopped and pulled me closer to him, leaning his forehead against mine and looking me in the eyes, smiling. I couldn't help but smile as I gazed into his blue eyes. "I love you, Emmy." "I love you too, Leo." He leaned closer and kissed me, causing me to wrap my arms around his neck, kissing him back. We stood there for what seemed like hours, just kissing and embracing each other. We finally pulled apart with Leo asking, "Shall we continue toward the town?" I nodded, and he wrapped his arm around me again as we continued on our way. Arriving at the town, we saw people and dragons talking, working, and living together. Everything is the way it should have been long ago, and now we can all relax and enjoy our new lives alongside the dragons.
