Buck and Leo must've heard the commotion, because they came rushing outside. Buck immediately yelled, "Don't you dare hurt my daughter!" Soren smirked, "Oh, we wouldn't dream of it. We'll return her as soon as we get what we want." I glared at them, "You're not getting the crown." Spirit chuckled, "Who said anything about the crown?" I gave him a confused look, "Then what do you want?" Soren then spoke, "We want you and Leo to come with us." We looked at each other, then I sighed, "Alright, just let her go." Soren replied, "I'll let her go when you two are safely locked up."
Soren kept his hold on Alice as he took off into the air. Spirit released Razor Beak and told us, "Now, follow Soren." We did as he said and climbed on Razor Beak, with him climbing on behind us. Razor Beak took off, following Soren, who was carrying Alice. Don't worry Buck, I won't let you or Alice get hurt because of us. We eventually came to a small mansion in the middle of the woods. We landed after Soren, then I asked, "Who lives here?" Soren replied, "I do." Spirit came up to me and Leo and took away our weapons, then tied up our hands. "There, no fighting back now."
Soren then released Alice, and I took her over to Razor Beak. "It's alright, Alice. Razor Beak's going to take you home." "Are you going to be ok?" I smiled at her, "Don't you worry about us, we'll be fine. Razor Beak, I want you to take her back home, I'm counting on you." He squawked and took off. I turned back to Spirit and Soren who led us inside and to a basement with a cell. We had to stay locked up while they rummaged through our stuff, looking for the crown. Soren finally said, "Where is it?" I couldn't help but laugh, "Did you actually think we still had the crown with us, we hid it ages ago." Soren yelled, "What?!" "Don't you remember Soren? I told Razor Beak to take it far away, and that's exactly what he did."
Spirit then said, "You're on your own there, since I can't fly. Besides, I got what I wanted." He looked at me, and I couldn't help but get a bad feeling. Soren then sighed, "Whatever, do what you want with them. I'll search for the crown myself." And with that, he left. Spirit chuckled, looking at us through the bars of the cell. Leo finally asked, "So what now, you gonna take us to the king, or kill us?" Spirit laughed, "You got it all wrong, you'll stay locked up, but I have plans for Emerald." He looked at me as he said that. I tilted my head and asked, "What kind of plans?" He smirked, "You'll see. I'll be back in a minute." Then he left, leaving us all alone.
I sighed and sat down with Leo. I huddled up next to him, laying my head on his shoulder. I mumbled, "Leo, I'm sorry for getting us into this mess." His tail wrapped around mine, causing me to smile. "You did what you had to to save Alice. And the crown is safe, so we just have to get outta here, then continue on our journey." I looked up at him and smiled, "Your right, thanks Leo. I don't know what I'd do without you." He smiled and pressed his forehead to mine, "At least we're still together." He then kissed me and I immediately kissed back, but we were soon interrupted by the basement door opening, causing us to pull apart.
