I turn to see Blake, Mark, and Mary standing below.

"What?" I ask holding my arms out.

"Get down and come hang." Mark says.

"No, come up here" I say dancing on the top.

"Be careful!" Mary says.

I balance on a small plank of wood and hop down to the top of the slide. They laugh as I yell "wee!" Going down the green tunnel.

"Come on." Blake says.

I run up to them and hug them tightly. I pull away laughing, my rope bracelets swing down my wrists.

"I thought we were going to see each other tomorrow." I say.

"Things changed." Mark says.

"Where's Cat?" I ask.

"She's helping her mom with baking." Mary says.

I roll my eyes and smile, "Let's go!" I say running.

They all run after me while laughing, I jump onto a swing and kick my feet. Mary and Blake sit on the sides of me. Mark sits beside Blake and we all swing in sync.

"I want to pick you guys up for school tomorrow." I say smiling.

"Okay." They all say.

I laugh and jump off into the rocks. They all follow as I head back to the car.

"I have to go get things ready for school." Mary says.

"Okay, see you guys." I say.

"Bye." They say.

I get in my car and head back to my house. When I open the door there's boxes sitting in the living room and some at the top of the stairs.

"Mom!" I yell.

"Yes Ellie?" She says.

"What's with the boxes?" I ask.

"I'm getting finished with packing.." She says.

I walk up the stairs to her room and she's sitting on her phone, "How long are you staying?"

"Just a few months, I just want to be comfortable." She says.

"A few months?" I ask.

She nods and waves me off, I walk into my room and close the door behind me. Sighing I plop on bed and pull my blankets over me. I suppose I should clean my room, I get up and begin to clean. It's usually always clean, there's just some things that could be neater. I restaple my posters and organize me desk. Then do laundry before vacuuming my floor, I repaint my closet door.

"What're you doing?" My mom asks.

"I'm just finished cleaning." I say covering up.

"Okay, have a good day tomorrow." She says leaving

I roll over and close my eyes in the warmth of my heavy blanket.

Beep... beep...beep...

I hit my arm and sit up as my hair falls in my face. I roll off the edge and walk to my closet to grab some clothes. I decide on a black skirt that goes to my mid thigh and a red t-shirt. Pulling on my vans my moms stands in my doorway staring at me.

"What?" I ask.

"Put leggings under that short thing." She says.

I roll my eyes and close the door. Walking to my closet I remember my fishnet leggings, I'm going to finesse her. I slip them on with a grin and walk down stairs with my bag and phone. Walking out of the house I yell goodbye and close the door.
