I walk into school and everyone stares at me as I walk the halls. What the hell is there problem? I keep walking until getting to my locker where Mary and Cat are standing.
"Why is everyone looking at me?" I ask.
"Because the last time they saw you was in that scene of kissing." Mary says.
I turn towards the people and watch them watch me. Throwing my hands up in the air I yell, "What are you guys looking at? Never been kissed before!?"
They all turn and begin to talk which for now, should settle me.

I'm really sorry for last night and I'm really happy you made me stop drinking - The Hart kid
I really like this boy, my feelings for him are so big. I want to tell him but I don't think he'll feel the same. For that reason alone I'm going to hold on to those feelings and keep them close to me.
"Are you and Parker a thing?" Mary asks looking at my phone.
"What?, no." I say.
"Well, do you like him?" She asks.
"I... Well..." I think hard.
"You do!" She squeals.
"Shut up!" I say slapping her shoulder.
"Hey." A voice says from behind me.
I turn to see that it's Parker, he smiles down at me. Some part of me can see he does not feel that smile.
"Hi." I say.
His arms shoot around me and pull me into his chest.
"Thank you." He says.
I pull away wishing he hadn't done that in front of the audience we have. People around us mumble and whisper.
Parker leans down to my face, "Don't listen to them." He says.
I look into his eyes, why does he make me want to kiss him so much? WhAt? I did not just think that? I snap out of it when he walks past me and down the long hall.
"Wow, nothing." Mary says.
"I told you, nothing, we're friends." I say.
"Yeah, because I've wanted to kiss you so many times." She says sarcastically.
I roll my eyes and think, did he really? I shake the though, how could he? I'll just go to class and get rid of all of my crazy thoughts.

"Mom, I'm home!" I yell.
Right, she's not here.
I walk to the kitchen and sit down with my head in my hands. Why did she just leave? I didn't think I'd care much but I do.
Hey, you want to come to the park? - Mary
No, I'm okay - Me
Okay, call me if you want me to come to you - Mary
Okay - Me
I turn my phone off and walk upstairs to my room to take a quick nap.
when I walk out of my room there's a knock at the door. I quickly walk down and open the door to Mr.Hart smiling.
"Hello Ms.Hart." I say.
"Hi hon, I'm just checking in." She says shrugging.
"I'm doing great, the house is still clean." I say.
"That's great, how's school?" She asks.
"Good, A Pluses." I say nodding.
She nods then turns to walk away, "Wait." I say.
She smiles and looks back at me, "How's Parker?" I ask.
"He's not great, but he's doing okay." She says smiling sadly.
I nod and wave before closing the door. He's not great. The words echo in my head, did I do that to him? Wait. How could I? Do I mean something to him?
I walk to the stairs and my phone pings.
Hey - The Hart kid
Hey... - Me
How're you? - The Hart kid
Super! - Me (lying)
Don't lie to me Hermosa - The Hart kid
Okay, I'm doing - Me
You know you can talk to me, right? - The Hart kid
If only he knew I was hurting over his words. I don't date. I think about it then go back to texting.
Yeah, - Me
Can I come over? - The Hart kid
I don't think that's a good idea - Me
oh... kay - The Hart kid
Parker... - Me
No, I understand, I'll be here - The Hart kid

I turn my phone off and go through my closet for an out fit tomorrow. I find the lace shirt I had washed and put it on my bed with a pair of high waisted shorts. Putting it up I close my closet and walk to the bathroom to take a shower.
When I get out my phone is going off, I dry my hair and change into some sweats and a t-shirt.
Hey, you okay? - Mary
Yeah - Me
Can we come over? - Mary
All of you? - Me
Yeah... - Cat
I want to see Parker but hanging out alone isn't an option. If I end up falling for him harder than I am already it won't end in my favor.
Sure - Me
See you soon - Cat
I turn my phone off and continue to dry my hair with my towel. Walking down stairs I plop on the couch and turn the TV on.
"Bitch!" I look to see Mary hanging in through the doorway.
I laugh as she and the others walk in, when I see Parker he smiles awkwardly. He's wearing a black shirt and denim jeans. He always looks good but damn.
"What do you guys want to watch?" I ask scooting down the couch.
"How about a good movie?" Mark asks.
"Well, which one dimwit?" Cat asks.
I go through Netflix until stopping on 'The Hustle.' Everyone gets excited as the beginning plays. The boys even seem to be enjoying it, though it's normal for them not to be normal. I get up and walk to the kitchen, I search for snacks and drinks.
Grabbing Popcorn, chips, and Gatorade I walk into the living room. I hand each of them a Gatorade and put the bowl of snacks in the middle of us.
We finish the movie then go to sleep, Me on the couch with Mary and The others in chairs and on the floor. I placed blankets on all of them before going to sleep myself.
