Chapter 9. The kiss.

I walk down the crowded hall of school. Everyone is talking and I swear I hear my name come out of their mouth a few times. 

"Ellie!"I hear a voice call.

I turn to see Max and his friends walking towards me. What could this idiot possibly want with me? Placing my hands on my hips he stands in front of me.

"I heard you didn't want the kiss." He says.

"Yeah, so?" I ask.

"Maybe you shouldn't be so loud next time." He says.

Mark, Blake and Parker stand behind me with the girls. I wait for him to say something else but the doesn't. He grabs my face in a quick motion and presses his lips on me making my eyes go wide. Quickly shoving him off me I need to get rid of the kiss, I see Mark standing in front of me so I quickly peck his lips and run down the stairs.

Sitting in my car with nothing but silence isn't the best thing right now. I'm not returning to the building today. I see Mary and Cat rush out the doors and spot me, they both get into the car.

"Are you okay?" Mary asks.

I nod slowly, "I wasn't expecting that." I say.

"Why'd you kiss Mark?" Cat asks.

"Because I don't want it and he was right there." I say.

"But so was Parker." Mary says.

"I don't care, he was closest." I say, "I just want to go home." 

"Is your mom gone?" Cat asks.

I nod and turn the keys, "Are you guy-"

"We're coming." Mary cuts me off. 

When we pull up to my house we get inside quickly. 

"Your mom just left?" Cat asks.

I nod, "She's having Parker's mom checking on me." 

"Odd, you'd think he'd tell us." Mary says.

"I know." I say annoyed.

I plop on the couch while clicking the TV on. 

"We should do make overs!" Cat squeaks.

I groan while looking over at her, "Fine."

They both have big grins and I stand, walking to my room to grab my hair stuff and makeup, I notice my mom's door locked. 

When I come back down they're both sitting on the couch watching TV. They look at me and begin to pull out the makeup.

I curled and straightened their hair and did their makeup. Not wanting to do a make over I said I'd let each of them do one thing. Mary decided on picking an outfit for me, Cat dyes strands of red in my white hair.

"You look so cute!" Cat cheers.

"At least it's over." I grumble.

They roll their eyes with a smile, the door bell rings giving us each a surprised look.
I stand and open the door to the boys standing bunched up.

"Hey guys." I say rubbing my eyes.

"Wow, Hermosa." Parker says grinning.

"Just come in." I say turning.

We all sit together bunched up in the living room watching TV. Parker, Me, and Mary sit on the couch while Blake and Cat sit in chairs. I'm surprised Mary even let him get that far away from her but oh well. Mark stayed in the kitchen eating snack until half way through the movie when he squeezed between me and Mary. I wish he hadn't because it just made me be closer to Parker.

"Hey, how about you get some snacks." I say to Mary.

She notices how squished I am to Parker and smiles, "No, I think that Blake can grab them."

I groan and try to move my arm from touching his but it doesn't work. He wraps his arms around me smiling.

"Going some where?" He asks.

I pull his arms off of me and stand, "Yes." I say walking toward the kitchen. 

I grab a bowl and put some snacks into it and walked back over to the couch. Mary and Mark moved leaving only Parker sitting on the couch. Groaning inside I sit next to him and begin to snack. He reaches over to the bowl on my lap and takes some chips while smiling at me. 

"I'm going to go to sleep." I say handing the bowl to him.

"Why?" He asks.

"I'm tired, what else?" I ask shrugging.

"To avoid me princess." He says. 

I shrug, "Could be." 

He grins and I head upstairs to grab a blanket. I might as well stay down stairs with my friends. When I drag my blanket down everyone is sleeping lightly. I gently sit on the couch with my blanket and see Parker covered up with a blue one. Rolling my eyes I get comfortable, Parker shifts and opens his eyes.

"Can you share?" He asks.

"You have one." I say quietly.

He tosses it behind him while smiling, "No I don't."

I roll my eyes and close them again while laying my head on the edge of the couch. I feel a tug at the blanket making me open my eyes, he smiles while scooting closer.

"Don't worry, I'm not going to touch you." He says.

I shove his shoulder, "Yeah, yeah." I say.

He slides his hands down my bare legs, "Unless-"

"Nope." I say shoving his hands off, "Night."

"Goodnight." He says chuckling.
