"Wake up!" My mom yells.

I groan and look up at her as she leans over me.  Groaning, I bring myself to my closet and grab a pair of jeans and  a white tank top. I pick my classic black vans and slip them over my feet.

"Wow." My mom says.

"Thanks?" I ask.

"Your look really... beautiful." She says.

"It's just a tank top and jeans." I say shrugging.

"There's something about it." She says.

I laugh and walk past her out the bedroom door and down the stairs. More boxes were stacked in the living room.

"What are you leaving for?" I ask.

"I told you, work." She says.

"Are you having some one watch me?" I ask.

"Maybe, I need them to" She says.

"Ugh, call it off, I'm fine." I groan.

"Fine, but they will check in." She says.

I smile and take a sip of water, she places her hand on her hip.

"Breakfast?" She asks.

I shake my head and grab my phone off of the counter. Walking out the door I hear her sigh, walking out to the car my phone pings.

Morning - The Hart kid

what's the point of texting me? - Me

I want to - The Hart kid

Right. see ya - Me

Why you going so soon? - The Hart kid

Driving - Me

You should pick me up - The Hart kid

Once - Me

He texts me the address and and I drive there trying not to be late by the time we actually get to school.

"Wait, this is yours?" He asks.

"Yeah, you saw me driving it." I say.

He hops in the passenger seat, "Wow." He says looking me up and down.

I shove his cheek to look away from me, "Okay," I say.

I turn the key and pull out, he places his hand on my thigh. I slide it off making him chuckle and repeat it. I slap his hand making him pull it away.

"Feisty."  He says

I nod and smile as he stares out the window. When we get out he comes behind me and leans down by my ear.

"With the little that I saw I'm not going to stop trying." He whispers.

I freeze and watch as we walks up to Mark and Blake. My mind flashes back to when he walked in on me changing my shirt. Shit.

"You coming?" He turns back and winks at me.

I begin to walk and Mary pulls me away.

"Oh my god!" She squeals.

"What?" I ask.

"Did you just get out of the car with Parker!?" She jumps up and down.

"Yeah, so?" I say shrugging.

"Did he ask you to?" She asks.

"Yeah, so?" I repeat.

She squeals again and I walk back to the doors where the boy were standing minutes ago. Mary leans her arm on my shoulder as we walk through the doors. Mark waves and I turn up the stairs. I don't want to see Parker's face right now. When I walk in Parker is staring at me and I swing around to walk back out of the class.

I hear foot steps behind me then a hand on my wrist. I turn and swing my arm out of his hand.

"Where are you going?" He asks.

"No where you need to know." I say.

"I want to know." He says.

"Too bad!"  I yell and climb over the rail.

I hear him yell my name as I fall to the bottom of the stairs. He looks over the rail at me and I smile. Walking out the door I still hear him walking behind me.

"Lizzy." He says.

"Stop calling me that." I say.

"Just come back and I will." He says.

"If you don't I'll take no hesitation to your disappearance." I say.

He grabs my wrist and brings me to a wall, "Me either." he says.

He leans in to my face and whispers, "see you in class."

I shove him off of me and watch him walk up the stairs. Mary and Cat make their way to me.

"What was that?" Mary asks nudging me.

"Not what you think." I say brushing my hand through my hair.

"Can us girls hang out after school?" Mary asks.

"Sure, you could spend the night and we could do a pampering night." I say sarcastically.

"Cool." Cat says earning an eye roll.

I walk away and up the stairs to class. When I sit the teacher eyes me with a smile.

"Close one."

The bell rings at those words and the lesson begins. I tried to pay attention to the teacher but it was hard with the constant stare of Parker on me.
