I wake up to hands on my shoulders shaking me. When I open my eyes the figure gets less blurry, his familiar face isn't surprising.
"Wake up." He whispers.
"I'm up." I groan while stretching.
His smile shines in my eyes or maybe it's the sun. My eyes haven't quite adjusted, I sit up and wait for him to tell me the reason behind him waking me up.
"Come with me." He says holding out his hand.
"Where are we going?" I ask.
"Just... come on." He says, "Do you trust me?"
He pulls me up and takes me upstairs to my room.
"What? what're you doing?" I ask following him to my window.
"You ask so many questions." He says.
When the window opens cold air fills the room and he takes off his jacket. Holding it out to me he climbs out of the window.
I slip it on and follow him out to the roof. He sits down against the house walls, I want to pull him back in do to the fear he might slip.
"Come here." He says.
I sit next to him and take in the cool breeze. A wave of relief washes over me as I take deep breaths.
"Look at that sunset." He says.
I laugh while watching the mix of oranges and pinks fade.
"How'd you know to do this?" I ask in realization.
"Ummm... I noticed when I was here for your hangover." He lies.
I return to him shrugging and saying he doesn't date. We're back to square one in my head.
"What- ...oh, I.." He stutters.
"It's okay." I say placing my hand on his arm.
He looks at me sincerely, I pull my eyes off of his and look back into the sky.
"So are you going to tell me how you knew about this?" I ask.
"Okay fine, I went out here when you were asleep." He says.
I look at him worried, "What if you fell?" I ask.
He chuckles, "I didn't though." He says.
I nod, "Luckily, stupid." I say.
"If I were truly stupid I would've fell." He says smiling.
I playfully slap him and laugh, "Right."
"You got sass, I like that." He says smirking, "You don't take shit, you fight back."
I nod while smiling. His hair looks perfect, I just want to run my fingers through it. And that Jawline!
Okay, calm down Liz!
"Thanks." I say quietly.
He looks at me and begins to stand, his foot slips before he catches himself.
"Parker!" I yell.
"I'm fine, it was a little slip." He says.
I feel my heart pounding, "God, what am I going to do with you?" I ask.
"What ever you want." He says winking.
I shake my head while laughing, "You want to go in?" He asks.
"Yeah." I say opening the window.
I climb in first and plop on my bed, "I got a good view." He says shrugging.
"shut up!" I say embarrassed.
He chuckles and walks toward the door, "Bye." I say.
He turns and looks at me, "What're you going to be doing?" He asks.
"Sleeping, what else?" I ask smiling.
"No." He says walking toward me.
"Yes." I say crawling up to my pillows.
He pulls my legs but I squeal while moving up again.
He climbs on top of me pinning me down. His hair falls in his face, I use every bone in my body not brush it away. He laughs hovering over me, It grows silent with out faces nearly touching. I search his face as he looks at my lips while licking his.
The door opens the closes quickly, "Woah!"
Parker jumps off of me and opens the door.
Mary stands there blushing, "Sorry, I didn't know that you two were!" She panics.
"Calm down!" I say.
She pauses and looks at me, "Nothing happened." I say.
Parker nods but doesn't say anything, "No, we finished fu-"
I slap him, "He's lying." I say pushing him out the door.
"I'd like to speak with you." Mary says walking in.
I wave at Parker and he smirks before walking down the stairs.
"What the hell happened!" She cheers.
"Nothing, we just go caught up." I say shrugging.
What would of happened if she hadn't walked in?
"Mmmhhmmm." She says, "I see you like his jacket."
I take it off and toss it in my closet, "What?, I have no idea what you're talking about." I say sarcastically.
She giggles before opening the door, "Whatever that was, I saw it and... I think it's amazing."
I let her walk away and I plop on my bed when she disappears. Ugh, What is happening!?
