"Hi guys" Peter brought the attention on us as I stood behind his back.
After the whole fiasco with Davey, I'm not super confident being around a lot of people at the moment. Everyone had stopped their work and were looking at us. Davey was no where to be seen, which didn't surprise me.
"This is where the boys work, chopping wood, collecting fresh water, and harvesting the crops, obviously we go shopping in the normal world because we're lazy but it's still nice to have our own vegetables" Peter chuckled. We walked over to the vegetable patches, there were so many spread a long way down.
Noah and Henry were picking different vegetables, there was a wheelbarrow full of carrots, tomatoes, onions, peas and more.
"Hey pan" Henry waved. I still stood behind Peter not exactly ready to see people. He stepped aside so they could see me but I almost immediately went back behind him.
"Hi Bella" Henry chuckled at me. And I waved to him. Noah just smiled at us.
"It's rude to not reply" Henry raised his brows expecting some kind of response from me. I really didn't wanna talk after the blow up this morning. So I looked at the floor and continued to hide behind peter. How have I changed so much in just a few days? A week ago I was used as a punching bag, a now I'm hiding behind people. Wow. Guess I come accustomed to things quicker than I thought.
"She's had a rough morning, I think she's feeling a little fragile" Peter smiled to Henry. His choice of words weren't exactly the most favoured way of saying it, which made me go a lovely shade of pink, as the rest of the boys looked at me, giving me some sympathetic smiles.
"I'm guessing it has something to do with Davey who is no where to be seen, not to mention the complaining we got this morning that he had to check bella" Georgie said.
"Yes something like that, let's just say he's got A LOT of work when he gets back" Peter replied emphasising his words."Hey bella would you like to come and see what one of your jobs entail, I think you'll really like it" Georgie smiled. After wiping his hands with a cloth he put his hand out for me to take.
I looked up at Pan so see if it was ok, he gave me a reassuring smile, nodding he very gently pushed me towards Georgie.
I took his hand and we started walking to a path that started more or less in the centre of their workspace. "I think you'll really enjoy this job" he smiled again as we came to a very large caged enclosure.
He took out a key from his shorts pocket and unlocked the door. He made a sort of clicking sound, like he was beckoning something as he shut the door. I gasped as I saw a few bunny rabbits appear. I squeezed Georgie's hand as they came hopping up to our feet.
"This is the islands bunny enclosure, they're very calming, and they would never survive in the wild for more than a couple years, so pan built an enclosure when he first found them in the woods. Would you like to hold one?" Georgie explained, picking up a brown speckled rabbit. He shushed it as he cradled it. I nodded while sitting on the floor as I didn't want to drop the animal.
"Yes please" I added as I know they seem to like verbal answers. He was also right about them being calming.Georgie crouched down to me handing me the soft rabbit, I cradled it as he fed it a bit of carrot.
As I was sitting down the other rabbits came and surrounded me seeing their friend had got carrot.
I smiled as Georgie moved a couple of them so he could sit next to me. It was so peaceful, the bunnies hopping around us, feeding them carrots while they took turns to sit on my lap. It was amazing.
We sat for a while. "What happened between you and Davey, you seemed pretty upset. You don't have to answer if you don't want to" Georgie asked looking at me. I continued to pet the rabbits not looking up, I sighed deciding to tell him.

"Wow, that's awful. He should've never said those things" Georgie placed, his hand on mine, I flinched I little, but sat there.
After a couple of seconds my heart rate started to increase due to the anxiety so I wiggled my hand away, he clearly understood and lifted his hand away.
"This will be one of your jobs on the island" georgie started.
"Really!?" I gasped, this is going to be amazing.
"Yes but if you're bad you will get harder jobs that aren't as fun as looking after the rabbits" I frowned a little but I suppose it was fair enough."Come on we've been here ages, let's go back to them" Georgie stood up, extending his hand so I could take it. I stood up and took his hand, as we walked back to the boys I started to get a little nervous. Georgie sensed this and gave my hand a reassuring squeeze, smiling at me. I smiled back and felt more safe.
Walking to the opening I saw Peter giving orders to people while weaving some large leaves.
"Oh hey guys, did you enjoy going to see the rabbits" Peter smiled seeing us.
"Yeah it was great, Georgie said that it's gonna be one of my jobs, to look after the rabbits!" I smiled back.
"Well I'm glad they could cheer you up and yes it will be" he put down his leaves."Don't forget the rabbits are a fun job, and will be taken away if you act up, someone else will look after them" Peter warned.
"Yeah Georgie told me" I said fiddling with a leaf."Come on let's go back" Peter started to walk as Georgie and I followed.
As we walked through my head started to feel clouded and fuzzy, my vision went a little blurry too. I closed my eyes and tried to shake it away but it made my head worse. It was rapidly becoming worse. I stopped and Georgie looked at me as his hand was still holding mine. "My head feels-" my vision blurred so bad I couldn't see, stopping mid sentence, the blurriness turns and I see all black, I feel my eyes rolling into the back of my head, my legs giving way.
The last thing I remember was Peter and Georgie turning, to look at me, with a questioning look and then them lunging towards me, probably in a bid to catch me. Oh wow this was embarrassing.
