Mi Corazon ( Panchito x Esmeralda Part 2 )

Panchito and Esmeralda did not speak to anyone about them having their first big date for a full day at SHUSH.

Despite that, Esmeralda noticed knowing smirks from Della, Donald and Jose whenever she passed them by.

The 3 caballeros and Della have been promoted to be her junior assistants ever since their mission together at New Yolk was a big success. Of course, Daisy and Rosinha were there with them at that time.

When sunset came, Esmeralda quickly changed into wearing a smart and classy purple pant suit, glittering dark purple clogs, shades and even lilac hat. Her hair - no longer a professional bun - falls onto her shoulders like rippling waves. She even wore white sunglasses and silver eyeliner to boot.

Panchito is waiting for Esmeralda with his purple sports car. He is wearing a smart white shirt, black Jeans, dress shoes and a bow tie. When he saw Esmeralda, his jaws hit the floor. She looked absolutely amazing

' Cara mia,' Panchito gasped ' Te ves asombrosa. '

Esmeralda laughed ' Gracias, Panchito. Shall we go?'

The car ride to the tourist spot was a very happy one. They talked and laughed about everything and nothing as they listened to Latin pop songs. Suddenly, Esmeralda noticed a huge basket behind Panchito's driver's seat.

' Panchito ?' Esmeralda asked ' What is that?'

' Oh, that?' Panchito smirked ' It is a very big surprise for my beautiful supervisor. '

Esmeralda turned pink at Panchito's flirty words. She was about to say something when she heard a chorus of ' OOOOOOOOH's from her beside.

Groaning, the Hispanic couple looked up, and - to their utter surprise - Daisy, Donald, Jose and Rosinha were driving right past them! They are on Daisy's sky blue sports car as they are going on their double date. Apparently, Daisy is wearing a beautiful summer dress with yellow sunflowers on the fabric, Rosinha is wearing a baby pink dress with silver heels. Donald and Jose are wearing casual smart wear - Donald in a white shirt and a blue bowtie, and Jose wearing a beige suit.

' OOOOOH!' Donald teased ' GOING ON A DATE WITH THE COMMANDER!! YOU SLY DOG, YOU!'

' OOOOOOH!' Daisy screamed ' THAT IS SO GONNA BE VIRAL ON OUR GIRLS GROUP CHAT!' Apparently Daisy, Narcissa, Chanel, Rosinha, Esmeralda, and Della had their own group chat named Fabulous 6.

' OOOOOH! YOU ARE GIVING HER A LOT OF KISSES!' Jose yelled.

' OOOOOOH! LOOKS LIKE THE COMMANDER ISNT ALL SHOUTING ORDERS!' Rosinha teased.

' SHUT THE HELL UP!' Esmeralda roared. Donald, Daisy, Jose and Rosinha laughed loudly, as Rosinha took a photo of Panchito and Esmeralda together to send it to their ladies' groupchat, and the 4 sped off with Daisy driving faster than before.

Panchito laughed ' Ignore them, mi amor. This is our night no?'

Esmeralda laughed as well. ' Si, let's just ignore our friends and let them enjoy their double date. '

They arrived at a tourist dock which was next to a river bank in Duckburg. Lucky for the couple, the queue wasnt too long, so they only have to wait for 2 minutes before they boarded on a boat.

As the boat took off, Esmeralda was amazed how beautiful the scenery looked when she and Panchito were on the boat. The city lights were gleaming, and the stars above were smiling at the lovely pair. ' It is so beautiful, ' Esmeralda gasped. She isnt the type to be easily surprised, but when she saw the beautiful scenery, she changed her mind.

' Not as beautiful as you, ' Panchito smirked, in which she blushed fiercely.

' Oh, Panchito, Haya paz,' Esmeralda guffawed. ' What is in your basket?'

To her utter surprise, Panchito began taking out several food boxes and drinks. She was even more surprised that Panchito actually brought along a picnic on the boat - onigiris, quesadillas, deep fried cheese, lemonade, champagne and even some pumpkin pasty!

' HOW THE HELL DID YOU MAKE ALL OF THIS?' Esmeralda shouted in surprise.

' Well, the rice balls, fried cheese and quesadillas were made last night right after our call and kept in thermo boxes. I bought lemonade, champagne and pumpkin pasty from the mall during lunch break. ' Panchito answered.

' Oh, ' Esmeralda laughed ' So that is why I dont see you during lunch break. By the way, I also brought along something. '

Esmeralda smirked at Panchito's wide eyes as she whipped out a packet of caramel popcorn!

' That is my favorite!' Panchito exclaimed ' How did you -'

' One, detective work, ' Esmeralda smirked ' And two, Jose kinda let it slip. I bought it this morning on the way to work, by the way. '

' Thanks to our Brazilian friend,' Panchito laughed, ' We have popcorn!'

Soon, the couple started eating and drinking, and talked and joked around. The onigiris was fluffy and filling. The quesidillas have just the right amount of cheese and spice. The fried cheese melted in their mouth, the pumpkin pasty was crispy and golden, and the popcorn was absolutely divine. Lucky for them, they had booked for a 2 hour session, so it wasnt much of a hassle.

Spanish music was playing through their bluetooths, as they agreed to take turns to play songs. To their pleasant surprise, they had similar tastes in music, except Panchito loved energetic music, while Esmeralda loved relaxing ones.

Suddenly, Panchito's bluetooth started playing the Spanish version of Despacito!

Panchito was about to turn it off when Esmeralda stopped, ' Dont stop, senor Panchito. That is my favorite song.'

' For real?' Panchito asked. But then Esmeralda started to sing the first verse.

' Sí, sabes que ya llevo un rato mirándote, Tengo que bailar contigo hoy, ' she sang. Then she winked at.Panchito to signal him to continue.

Panchito was surprised that Esmeralda was actually a good singer. He lost focus until Esmeralda winked at him. 'Vi que tu mirada ya estaba llamándome. Muéstrame el camino, que yo voy. ' He sang.

Then both of them started singing the rest of the lyrics. And when they came to the Despacito part, they sang even louder. It was a wonderful time.

After their boat picnic, and many songs later, they finally boarded off the boat, and taking a slow walk to their car.

' Care to drop you off of your apartment?' Panchito asked gently, which is rather uncharacteristic of him.

' Si, I would love that, ' Esmeralda giggled, being a little tipsy from champagne.

The car ride was rather quiet, with Esmeralda now snoring at his shoulder, but Panchito never felt happier. He had chosen this picnic date because that is how his parents back in Mexico had their first date. Panchito had 1 older sister and 3 older brothers, with him being the youngest, and his older siblings are all successful. He could imagine what would happen if he introduced Esmeralda to his family.

When they finally arrived at Esmeralda's place, Esmeralda woke up and Panchito helped her out. Then, suddenly, Esmeralda grabbed him forcefully and kissed him, hard, on the beak.

Panchito was shocked. Esmeralda Cruz, Legal Executive of SHUSH and commander, was now smooching him! It took him around 2 seconds to kiss back. Her beak tasted like blackberries and lavenders, quite like the scent of perfume she chose to wear today.

After pulling apart, Esmeralda whispered ' Buenas noches. hermoso.'

Panchito whispered ' Buenas noches, mi amor ' as he kissed all over her face. ' It would around 12 hours before we see each other again...'

Thunder roared from the sky ' Take care, honey, ' Esmeralda sighed ' Its gonna rain, you know? And 12 hours isnt that long. '

Panchito laughed in agreement.

After several more goodbyes, Panchito hopped onto his car, pressed a button so that he has a shelter on top of him and drove off. As the rain started pouring down, Panchito was blaring a Spanish song very loudly in his car and he sang along.
