Welcome Home ( Donald x Daisy )

It was in the same late night not long after his uncle Scrooge gave the entire Calistola free candy on Halloween night.

Donald truly wishes that Daisy was here as well. He wished to do some Halloween partying with her, even introducing his family to her. Alas, she was in a special undercover mission for SHUSH to spy on FOWL, and she was gone since 2 days ago. Although they have exchanged texts and facetime calls, Donald truly does miss her.

When he discovered that Daisy is also a freelance SHUSH agent aside from being VOGUE's chief designer, Donald was understandably surprised, but he joined the volunteer SHUSH program all because of her. Not long after, all of his friends who are not in SHUSH before joined the program.

Donald changed into his ice blue pyjamas when he received a face time call on his laptop from none other than his beloved, Daisy.

When he answered the call, Daisy was in a SHUSH helicopter back to Duckburg. She, too, was in pyjamas, but hers was a silken angel pink sleeping suit, with cute bright pink fur slippers. She looks stunning even in bed.

' Heya, honey!' Donald's beak immediately split into an ear splitting grin ' How was the mission?'

' Exhausting, ' Daisy sighed heavily, yawning as well ' I just narrowly escaped from those FOWL roaches! Luckily, I wasnt hurt!'

' Oh my god!' Donald squawked ' Honey, you okay? You need hot cocoa, hot tea, blankets, anything?'

Daisy laughed, her boyfriend's attending manner always made her heart soft ' Donald, I'm absolutely fine! I just needed some time to recover from the adrenaline rush!'

Donald heaved a sigh of relief ' Whew! It's great that you ended the mission in one piece!'

' I have a black belt in karate, sweetie, ' Daisy giggled ' There is NOTHING I Cant handle!'

Donald laughed and gave Daisy a screen kiss, to which Daisy blushed and giggled.

' How was the Halloween?' Daisy asked ' So sorry that I have to miss our first Halloween....'

' Aww Daisy, ' Donald smiled sheepishly ' I wish you were there too! But I completely understand the sheer importance of the mission....'

And then Donald went on to narrate how he and Della also joined in the trick or treat, how the very clueless Launchpad figured out the meaning of Halloween, and how Scrooge ended up giving the entire Calistola free candy. Daisy listened to it all with great rapture, while asking a few questions here and there. By the time Donald finished narrating, Daisy laughed and blushed.

' Gee, arent you a charming storyteller, ' Daisy giggled and Donald blushed deeply ' Oh, I do have some very serious news to tell you...'

' Ooooh, what is it?' Donald smirked cheekily.

' Remember Fenton's girlfriend, Gandra?' Daisy asked.

Donald could only nod.

' Well, ' Daisy sighed ' I was in this mission and I saw.....Gandra working on an explosive weapon with THEM. '

' WAIT WHAT??' Donald gasped a little too loudly.

' Please, dont be so loud, ' Daisy gushed and giggled ' Yeah, I was as shocked as you are. Who knew that Gandra Dee was actually an executive FOWL agent?'

' How are we gonna tell poor Fenton?'Donald sighed.

' I dont know, dearie, ' Daisy sighed ' I just dont know.....'

The loving couple talked for some time, before Donald asked ' When will you arrive at Duckburg?'

' Around 7am, ' Daisy said.

' Okay! So I gotta wake Della and the kids up at 5am, and then we gotta drive to the airport....' Donald mused.

' Donnie! I'm sure that your family dont want to be awake so early!' Daisy laughed.

' Hey, they gotta meet an amazing lady like you, honey, ' Donald giggled ' It is all worth it!'

Donald and Daisy continued to talk for hours, before it is 12.30am and they exchanged countless phone kisses.

When They both hung up, Donald immediately started to create a big ' Welcome Home Banner ' and even some peanut butter and banana sandwiches for Della and the kids.
