*DANNY'S POV*

*knock knock knock*

Ugh who could that be? I opened the door to mine, Jake's and Charley's apartment and there stood a girl with blonde hair and blue eyes. She wore blue skinny jeans, a Superdry t shirt and grey Nike's. She had a grey trench coat over top and a wool scarf.
'Can I help you?' I asked stubbornly.
'Erm, is Charley in?' I turned around and saw Charley walking over to us. He wore a white shirt, black jeans and black boots. He grabbed his coat and stood next to the girl.
'Who's this?' I asked him.
'Dan, this is Lily. Lily, this is Danny.' He sounded scared of me. Haha.
'Nice to meet you.' She held out her hand for me to shake. I just smiled.
'I'll be back in a few hours.' Charley said before he closed the door.
I sat down on the couch and Jake joined me.
'Where were you last night?' He asked me.
'Does it matter?'
'Yes? You weren't home when I went to sleep and now your here sitting on the couch.'
'It is our apartment you know.' I snapped.
'Calm down man. I was just asking.'
'Well, if you must know I went to the park and Hannah was there.' He looked shocked.
'And?'
'And, we sorted things out,' A tear rolled down my face.
'What's up Dan?'
I paused not knowing what to say. I walked over to the window and opened it.
'Daniel?!'
'She self harms,' I said. 'She fucking self harms man!' I shouted.
'Danny! Calm down before you break anything!' Jake was shouting now.
'I can't calm down! My own sister self harms and it's all my fault!' I snapped. Tears were rolling down my face and landing on the carpet of the apartment. My hands were clenched into fists and I felt my cheeks burn.
'How do you know she does?'
'Because when I saw her yesterday her arms were covered in cuts that weren't there when I had that fight with Lewi! And now Lewi hates me!' I shouted.
'Im sure he doesn't hate you Dan. Calm DOWN!'
That was it. Jake never shouted but now he was angry. I stormed over to the door throwing the vase of the kitchen table causing it to smash into millions of pieces.
'I'm going out! But don't expect me to be back tonight!' I slammed the door shut and walked outside and down the steps of the building.
I looked up.

'Lewi.'
'Danny.'
'Did you hear everything?'
'Y-yeah.' Lewi was a strong guy and never cried. He was trying to hold back his tears but he couldn't.
'I'm sorry you had to find out this way.' He looked at the floor and nodded.
'And I'm sorry about the other day.'
'When you beat me up cause I'm dating your sister?' He raised an eyebrow.
'Y-yeah.' I replied.
Lewi took out his phone which had started ringing.
'It's Hannah.' He said and more tears fell down his face. He declined the call and put it back into his pocket.
'It's not your fault you know.' I looked at him slightly confused. 'It's not your fault that she... you know.' I knew what he meant.
'It is. If I hadn't of flipped out like that then this wouldn't have happened!'
'It's both our faults.' He said holding my shoulders. He looked me right in the eye when he said that.
'I suppose.' I wiped my eyes and held out my hand for him to shake. He took it.
'See you later?' He said.
'See you later.' I replied. Lewi smiled half heartedly and headed off in the direction of his apartment. A wave of relief flew over me and I realised I had my best friend back.
