Chapter 8 - awkward, awkward and more awkward

*LEWI'S POV*

I was in an awful mood. I was never focused and I didn't pay attention. We started writing songs and we had one under way and we were half way through writing it. I couldn't work today! I was too busy thinking about my argument with-
'For gods sake lewi! You missed the timings, again!' Jake snapped.
'Oh erm, sorry.' I sighed and rubbed my eyes with my hands.
'You ok mate?' Now he was being nice.
'Yeah. Yeah I'm fine.' No. No I'm not.
'You don't seem very happy right now though.'
'I-I am I just need some air.'
'We could all do with a brake anyway. Ten minutes and we'll start this again. You best sort yourself out lewi.' He winked. Jake joked about everything and tries to hide it. It works most of the time and we don't know of he's being serious or not!
I put my drumsticks down and headed out of Jake's garage. Yes, that's where we play and write songs. I decided to call Hannah. We hadn't spoken or tried to contact each other ever since we had our argument and that was about six hours ago!
I rang her three times and she didn't answer. It was three o clock. Surely the class had finished.

*BEEP BEEP*

Not Hannah. Instead it was my mum asking if I could pick Macy up from school. WAIT, WHAT?! Fuck, I couldn't do that. But I would have to. I ran back in and told the boys and was soon on my way to Macy's school.

*HANNAH'S POV*

'My mum has forgot me this time.'
'Oh Macy. I'm sure she's just running late.' I sat down at my desk and took out my phone. Three missed calls from Lewi. I sighed. I couldn't ignore him forever. I let my head drop into my hands.
'Macy?' I looked up. Shit.
'Lewi? Where's mum?' He didn't take his eyes off me. He just stared and me and it stared back at him.
'Er, mum asked me to pick you up. She can't get home. Go get your coat please.' He turned to Macy.
'I have it.' She held up her coat and put it on then picked up her bag, walked over to Lewi and held his hand.
'See you later Miss Wilkin.'
'Bye Macy.'
'Thanks.' And he walked out the classroom. A tear escaped my eye and I quickly wiped it away with my finger.
'Miss Wilkin?' I looked up to see Macy standing at the door.
'Here you go.' She handed me a gorgeous white rose.
'Oh wow Macy!'
'You were feeling pretty upset today I could tell so I thought this might cheer you up.'
'Well it certainly has! Here, go and fill this up with water.' I handed her a cup and she left the room. I saw Lewi standing by the door. He wore the normal thing but this time without a SnapBack. He had his hood up instead.
There was an awkward silence until Macy walked out.
'Here you go.' She handed me a cup full of water.
'Thankyou sweetie. This is gorgeous. How did you know white roses were my favourite?' She laughed.
'I just had a feeling.'
I smiled, 'Right off you go. Your going to end up living in the classroom soon!'
She laughed and I saw Lewi smirk.
'I'm going to meet my brothers band! I can't wait!'
'Oh,' I looked at lewi. 'Have fun.' He juts smiled and walked out holding Macy's hand. I thought he wouldn't come home that night because he's the kind of guy that will put things off for as long as he could. But I thought wrong...
