'At this rate, I will get caught!' I thought while I ceased fighting, retreated, and ran into the deepest part of the forest.

I struggled to catch my breath at the same time observe my surroundings. "I lost her." I spoke to myself when Grace showed up all sweaty and was panting like a dog. She darted her eyes at me, I gave her a playful grin and started to run deeper into the forest and I suddenly came to a full stop.

'She just doesn't give up, does she? Oh well, that leaves me no choice.' I clasped my hands together, energy flowed like wildfire within me, the wind blew harshly in a circular motion within my range, I swiftly extended my arms and let my palm face forward, I placed my feet apart as I focused some of the energy on my hand, I took a deep breath and a sky bluish glow started to form a symbol just half an inch away from my hand.

The wind grew more restless and the trees were wildly dancing. Another glowing symbol, different from the one that formed near my palms and is much bigger in size, appeared beneath my feet.

I gently closed my eyes while distancing my palm from my other palm which caused the small illuminating symbol in front of me to be in motion, and a pitch black hole began to appear in the middle of the symbol beneath my feet. It grew larger and larger until it was able to consume me.

As I went deeper into the pitch black hole, I had the same nostalgic feeling everytime I entered it. Though its surrounding is mysterious to other beings, not me. I was overwhelmed to see that I was about to exit the hole. First, my toes were drawn to it and then the rest of my body followed.

I found myself within the airy space between two large buildings. I was too tired to even save myself from falling. So I just let it be.

An average human would die from that fall, but unfortunately, I'm not a human, I'm not normal. I won't even break an arm if I landed because my body was different or I would adjust myself to let my feet hit the ground first, stand, and walk away as if nothing happened. But this time, its different. I might even fall asleep when I hit the ground.

So here I was, falling without much care. When suddenly, I heard footsteps running towards my direction. "Look!" A voice from below echoed in my ears. The pace of footsteps increased and instead of being alarmed or instead of panicking, I just didn't mind it.

The footseps drew closer and so did the ground until someone caught me in strong and comfortable arms.

I stared at the person who caught me and who turned out to be a guy.

I examined his appearance. Attractive... A golden blonde headed guy with a pair of mesmerizing yet mysterious blue eyes.

Behind him is another guy which I assume was his friend. He also has good looks. He had chocolate brown hair, a light shade of brown with a hint of red and concerned-filled eyes.

"Are you alright?" The guy who was now holding me asked.

My energy was all drained out so I gave him a weak smile and finally replied, "Yes, but can you umm... Put me down?"

"Oh, I'm terribly sorry." He said almost stumbling on his words.

The brown brown haired guy spoke to me in a thoughtful manner, " Are you sure? You look pale."

I faced him and answered briefly, "I'll be fine" and I somehow managed a smile

I turned around and walked away to find my vision blurry, my feet trembling with fatigue yet felt light as feather, my head began to spin, then finally my blurry vision became dark.

They were right. I'm not alright. I'm worn out and I just cant admit it. My foolishness got me unconcsious.

My body is aching. I carefully opened my eyes and found myself in an unfamiliar place. I was laying on a bed with a blanket over me.

"How do you feel?" The brown haired guy asked.

I turned my head to see both of them waiting for my reply. Then the brown haired guy added, "I'm sorry I forgot to introduce myself. I'm John Karl and this is-"

He was cut off when the blue-eyed guy started to speak, "I'm Christopher Kyle, nice to meet you... Err... ? "

I giggled and said, "I'm-" *Alarmed*

-I can't tell him my name. Shoot... Think fast. Uh.. Ting! (an idea pops up)-

"My name is Charn Venice." I was finally able to say it. But I feel disappointed in myself for noticeably twitching.

-I hope they won' t notice. I hate being worn out. I can't even lie with a straight face. Hmph-

"Nice to meet you Charn Venice." They both said it in chorus and they chuckled.

I caught a glimpse of a familiar glow from the window. "Grace... " I muttered under my breath. They are already here? *sigh*

"Huh? Did you say anything?" Christopher asked.

"Thank you for watching over me but I have to leave." I said as quickly as possible and I left John and Christopher in confusion.

I ran outside and it seems that Grace was waiting for me and this time, she is with James and Mimi.

"Keep running and I'll just be right behind you." Grace said with a malicious tone while she snickered at me.

"So you're saying that you have now become my tail? So who would be my ears?" I replied which made her brows knit into a frown.

"Now you've done it." She said it almost like a snarl. Which made me more excited.

"Did what?" I shot back an innocent look at her and now she lost it.

She charged me with her weapon which is a sliver dagger with a crest that shows her rank and is carved with delicate floral design.

I sprinted towards an empty alley avoiding to get much attention.

It will now begin.
