"Reagan?" I choked out, my heart racing.
She smirked. "Hey Mallory. Long time no see!" She said with a smirk, "How have you been?"
"Wonderful," I said, my heart starting to race s I glanced behind me towards the officer who questioned me, "How about you?"
He raised an eyebrow. Should I tell? I thought to myself before looking back at the woman I hadn't seen in years.
"You know I'm doing amazing," she began, "I married Jason McGraw. You remember him right? He used to be the captain of the football team? Anyway, his company brings in billions a year-"
God, I gotta ditch her, I thought to myself as I looked at anywhere but her. "Are you okay?" She asked, clearly unable to tell that I didn't give a shit about her life.
"I'm fine," I replied, "I actually should get home. I gotta work in the morning and I still haven't had dinner or showered yet plus I have some things I have to do."
"Okay we should totally hang out some time. Maybe we can spend a girls day on my yacht," she said with a smile to big for it to be real.
I smiled back before pushing past her and walking towards the door. I stopped in front of the door and turned toward the officers.
"Officer this is the woman I told you about," I said before turning around and walking out.
