I sighed as I held my legs close to my body, the grass was slowly grazing my leg as the wind swayed them back and forth.
I mean I had to accept it at some point, even though I didn't want to, we were all trapped here in this killing game.
The first two deaths had really hammered it into my head, most of us aren't going to make it out alive of here.....but I've already made such good friends with many people here...I can't bare to think of them leaving, or even worse, me leaving them.
" Yo Y/N! " I felt someone's warmth next to me and I looked over and saw the energetic purple haired astronaut.
I smiled despite feeling like world was about to crumble underneath me.
He put a hand on my shoulder and grinned at me .
" Why so gloomy kid? "
I looked down and felt tears start to build up in my eyes.
" You see it's just...the killing game you know? Anyone could just die whenever and..."
I covered my face with my hands as the tears streamed down.
" I-I dont want anyone to leave....!" i could feel my voice waver as I tried not to break down anymore than I had.
" Well...That just means you have to make the most of what you have whilst its still here! " I could here the determination in his voice and small smile crept across my face.
" Sulking isn't gonna get us outta here! If all you do is cry about it the situation won't fix itself! "
I looked up at him and his smile almost melted my heart.
He reached out a hand and wiped the tears away from my eyes.
I felt a flush come over my cheeks as he did, I wanted him to caress my face more....
He stood up at held his hand out to me, I grabbed it and he pulled me up with ease.
" That's the spirit! " he flashed me a thumbs up and he started to walk away.
" Come on! Maki and Shuichi are gonna be worried if we're late! "
" w-what...?! " I questioned...what did he mean.
" I mean you're joining us today! Let's go! " he stared running and I almost lost my breath entirely trying to catch up with him.

I panted as my body was sprawled out across the floor.
" See that was Fun wasn't it! " he towered over me and I sighed.
" n-not in the slightest....." I struggled to speak.
Maki and Shuichi had both left and we were back on our own again.
" it's gotten dark hasnt it..?" I stated as I stared up into the stars.
" oh now that you mention it I guess it has! " he chuckled and I felt my heart skip a beat.
" Kaito...? "
" huh, what is it Y/N ? "
I took a deep breath and smiled softly.
" Thank you...for earlier you know....it was really helpful...."
" That's what you wanted to say? There's no problem! " his smile was like the sun appearing after a heavy rain shower.
" but, can I ask why you're staring at me? " he awkwardly chuckled and scratched the back of his neck.
" a-ah...uhm....!" I quickly farted my eyes away from him.
" I-I wasn't staring at you! Y-you just happened to be standing where my eyes were looking..! " all I got was a laugh and I crossed my arms and a huffing noise escaped my lips.
" If you say so! " he placed a hand on my head and ruffled my hair.
" h-hey dont mess up my hair! " I squealed and I rushed to fix it.
" I'm only playing jeez...! Anyway, would you like me to walk you back to your room? "
he offered and I couldn't say no.
