Twenty Four

"Tae, are you heading home?" Jimin asked, circling his arms around the blonde's waist.

The two of them were making their way out of the building with the other students.

"I'll be going to the library to return some books and then..." Taehyung grinned, looking like a lovesick fool.

His sudden pause made Jimin look at him with his brows arched up.

"And then you're going to meet Jungkook?" Jimin asked with a knowing look on his face.

This had Taehyung giggling, feeling tingles all over his body.

"Yeah." He answered, trying to hide his excitement.

It's been three days since he had seen Jungkook solely because Taehyung had to focus on his exams.

He also received an offer from their department to be a student assistant which was a good opportunity for him to earn money even though it's not too much.

He's required to render 2 hours to help out in the office after his class or in between his classes depending on his schedule.

Taehyung had become a bit busy for the past few days which lessen his time with Jungkook.

Fortunately, now that his exams are already over, he could finally meet and go out with Jungkook.

"Knew it! I can see the excitement in your face." Jimin commented which made Taehyung laugh.

"I missed him, you know." Taehyung responded in a soft voice.

"Lucky for you, Yoongi is always around so you don't miss him that much." He added as they made their way to the library.

"I still miss him though." Jimin giggled as Taehyung just rolled his eyes.

"If only I could be with him 24/7." The latter dreamily sighed.

"Just go to him. You're making me cringe." Taehyung teased, pushing Jimin away as they stopped in front of his destination.

Jimin pouted. "You have to promise me you'll spend time with me tomorrow. I miss hanging out with you, you know."

Taehyung chuckled, pinching Jimin's cheeks. "Promise. Now go to your Yoongi." He playfully pushed Jimin once more.

"Tomorrow, okay?" Jimin reiterated to which Taehyung just nodded.

Jimin went ahead while Taehyung entered the library to return the books that he had borrowed.

He saw the librarian, Ms. Choi, busy checking the logbooks.

"Good afternoon, Ms. Choi." Taehyung greeted with a smile.

The middle aged woman smiled back as he stared at the blonde.

"I'm returning these books, Ms." Taehyung handed the books to her.

"Heading home?" Ms. Choi asked, taking the books from him.

"Yes, Ms." Taehyung answered as the woman nodded her head.

"Keep safe on your way." Ms. Choi said which made Taehyung smile even more.

"You too, Ms." Taehyung retorted back. He's about to leave when he remembered something.

"Oh by the way Ms. Choi, I'll be dropping by tomorrow around 9 am to help out here." Taehyung uttered.

"That would be great, Taehyung. I'll expect you tomorrow." Ms. Choi's face lit up even more.

"Bye, Ms." Taehyung waved his hand before heading to the door.
