Part 2

What is happiness?

All I know is that happiness and love walk hand in hand through life.

People search for happiness for a lifetime; some never find it, some do. What is it about happiness that people just want it?

Is it the sound of your puppy's happy barks when you tickle her or when you throw a lime green tennis ball? Is it the picnics at the beach? Is it the little tears that you keep at bay when you see your own book on sale,on a book shop for the very first time? Is it the look you and your better half share as you walk down the aisle? No, maybe it's the very first sound your son makes, that loud cry that makes your heart grow two sizes. 

The human soul craves that, it craves all those little moments that make them feel happy inside, and they want to experience all of that for as long as they live. 

I've always chased happiness, I just never knew it looked like that, it sounded like that, it felt like that.

Guess I was chasing the wrong thing all along, hence why I didn't find it sooner... or I guess I just never knew what I chasing until it found me.

This is what I want. Nothing else.

Like love, happiness is a feeling and to know what it is, you have to feel it, but you can also see it. Every single time I look in the mirror I see it, I see happiness, and that's the best definition you can find.
