Chapter 6: Responsibility

3rd Person POV

Her black diamond pupil eyes widened as she heard clapping. 'Isn't everyone supposed to be asleep?' She thought. She turned around to see the Captain clapping with a smile.

"You really amaze me, Akari." Fuegoleon complimented the said girl as he walked towards her.

Her cheeks blushed in embarrassment but she managed to snap out of it.

"You must have a lot of mana to deflect my spell." She said quite strenly.

"Was that it's intention?" He asked, intrigued. She nodded.

Akari's POV

Captain Fuegoleon chuckled. "Great spell, newbie!" He exclaimed. My eyes sparkled.

CAPTAIN COMPLIMENTED MEEEE!!! REEE-

"But." He strenly added. "You made my little brother fall asleep in the middle of a field. So did your colleagues over there." He pointed to the side to the twins.

I sulked. "I'm sorry." I apologized. But then, my eyes had their sparkles back as I determinedly looked at my idol.

"BUTT! I'LL LOOK FOR A REVERSE SPELL! JUST HOLD ON!" I extended out my right hand as a stop sign. I used my left hand and began flipping through pages of my grimoire.

"Ah got it!" I exclaimed and turned back to Cancer. The grimoire gave me a frying pan and another frying pan.

I look back at my grimoire. I squinted my eyes a little as I read the spell out loud. "Cancer Sloth: Clashing Boom?" I said, uncertain as I clashed the two frying pan's together.

Suddenly, a huge and loud sound came from the pan's, like a sonic boom. Everyone woke up while holding onto their ears, except for... Leopold.

Everybody groaned and walked away from the field. The only ones who's still here is Captain Fuegoleon, Noah, Naomi, me and Leopold.

I walked towards him and shook him. "Hey, are you okay?" I asked. But then, I felt dumb.

HE'S NOT MOVING! hOw Da FuK iS hE oKaY?!

I cursed myself. I slowly turned to Captain with a very scared look.

"I-I think I might've... O-Overdone it?" I stuttered out but I flaired my arms around. "B-BU-BUT! I-I'LL MAKE IT UP FOR IT! I-I'LL TAKE CARE OF HIM P-PROMISE!"

I snatched the flying grimoire. I sticked my nose in it and began flipping through the pages. "there's gotta be a healing spell here somewhere..." I muttered as I squinted my eyes.

I flinched when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked up to see Captain looking down at me, cause of our height. I sheepishly smiled at him.

I fucked up. I fucked up. I fucked up.

He chopped me at the back of my neck. "ARK!" I yelped in pain.

"Unacceptable!! You better check if my little brother is okay! If not I'LL MAKE SURE YOU STAY HERE AND DO MORE WORK!" He threatened loudly. I gulped and quickly did the Magic Knight's salute.

"Y-Y-YES, CAP'N!" I stuttered out. I quickly, embarrassingly took Leopold in a bridal style. I stiffly walked towards Leopold's room to heal him.

I closed my eyes and placed my right hand above Leopold's. "Celestial Magic: Capricorn Earth, Healing Touch." I said out loud. I opened my onyx eyes as my right palm glowed green.

I sighed. "This is gonna take a while... Damnit... I shouldn't have been so mean..." I muttered in guilt.

Unknownly, my eyes trailed to the orange hair's face. He looks pretty cute when he's sleeping... I noticed I was staring and quickly look away. My cheeks pink.
