Chapter 33

"I love you guys." I yawned. My eyes are starting to feel heavy when I ended the call with my parents. Shutting my phone off I turned to the side and brought my blankets closer to my body, covering me from the waist down.

I closed my eyes preparing to sleep when my mind suddenly started to enumerate number of events that happened today. A small pain started to form on my temple, I rubbed the area and sighed.

Is this really how novels work?

Just today, I met the heroine of the novel, Sehun met her, then he got in a fight with his bestfriend, I confessed my feelings at long last and lastly the event that occurred during dinner.

In my previous life I've never had this much happening all in one day!

I was awakened in my deep thoughts when I received a message. I lazily turned to the side to reach my phone, checking the person who messaged me in the middle of the night. My eyes widened in excitement when I read who sent the message. A smile crept on my lips as my fingers moved to read the message expecting some sweet words.

'Goodnight. See you tomorrow." My smile disappeared. Checking my messages again if he sent more but to my disappointment he didn't send another one.

What? This is it? No 'See you in my dreams'? Well...considering that this is our first day and he isn't really the type to send me those long romantic flowery words. I guess this is good enough.

My lips formed a straight line puffing my cheeks out, I really shouldn't expect that much. I tapped the 'reply' button and started to type my reply.

'Goodnight too. Dream of me.'

Woah, this is out of my character, but this is really a cute way to mess with him after what he said earlier.

I smirked as I pressed send without shame. Throwing my phone back to the side, my toes curled as my lips couldn't help but to stretch outwards. I shook my head from how shameless my reply was and covered myself completely with the covers, enveloping me with a warm comfort.

I'll see him again tomorrow.

Everytime before sleeping, it feels like I'm in a carousel of thoughts, every events that happened would replay in my mind and ask for analysis and when the carousel stops, I feel released from it as I fell asleep. And the last thing that stayed on my mind before sleep came was him.

MORNING came and our activity for the day is to just relax. Everyone is gathered at the lobby as one of the staff offered the choices to us.

We can go to the different sectors in the resort there are fish spa's, sauna, rock baths, massage therapy from masseur or from the falls.

"Sally, let's go to the fish spa?" Hana invited Sally as everyone also decided where they want to spend their time in. Minnie joined in to Sally's group and looked at me with a mischievous grin as she nodded.

Seriously

"Eunwoo you should go with us! We're going to the falls!" Timothy invited Eunwoo with his group who were also encouraging him to join them. My eyes passed to their group, and in that instance, he turned to me, making a contact for a second before I avoided his direction.

Now this is too awkward!

I cleared my throat.

"Where do you wanna go Sehunie?" I asked turning to the person beside me who's just been so silent since we met this morning. Holding the brochure the staff gave to cover his face he turned his eyes sideway.

"Depends on you." I rolled my eyes and took the brochure from his hands abruptly.

"Give me that. You should've recommend one. " I scolded him, the others are already leaving yet we still don't know where to go.

I looked at the brochure deciding which place is more fun to go to. I don't really fancy the fish spa, I'm a spoiled teen that doesn't have any problems with my foot, maybe the rock bath?

"Let's go here!" I lift my head and pointed at the picture of the rock bathhouse. My eyes wandered on his face, he pursed his lips and was about to turn away when I smacked him on the shoulder, making him turn to me.

My eyes stared in shock at his really red complexion. I covered my mouth with the brochure when I realized a smile is slowly creeping on my face.

"Why's your face so flushed?" I asked.

"Tsk." He turned his back at me and started to walk outside the lobby leaving my behind. I laughed and ran to close the gap between us, I got a hold of his elbow and immediately snaked my hand to clutch on him.

"C'mon, why're you so red?" I insisted to ask. "If you don't tell me I'll go with the girls." I joked not expecting him to take it seriously. I was taken a back when he stopped walking and said.

"Because of your text last night."

"Huh?"

"It made me really happy." He honestly said looking straight at me with his flushed face and neck. It took a second for me to pull myself back and feel the rush of blood to my face.

"So that's the reason." I whispered, nodding my head. Looking down so he couldn't see my flushed face, I placed my left hand and massaged my face hoping that my cold hands would lessen the flushing.

"Uh." He cleared his throat. "The let's go to the bathhouse." He continued dragging me with him. My heart racing still, I smiled and went along with him as my hair freely let the strong wind blow through the strands.

"Welcome! We've been informed that you'll be here so the bathhouse has been closed and reserved only for the Young miss and sir. The rock spring bath is just straight ahead, you may change your clothes at the side, please call me if you need assistance." The caretaker, I believe, informed us and guided us with her hands. I smiled and nodded.

"Alright. Thank you." She politely smiled and placed her hands together as she gave a small bow.

"Sehunie, let's change first." I told him.

"Okay, I'll wait for you then." He said. He didn't need to change as he's just wearing a white sleeveless shirt and plain black swimming shorts.

I jogged to the changing room, I knew I should've just wore my one piece bathing suit beforeI dressed  myself up. When I arrived to the room, I took my clothes off and changed to my pastel blue one piece suit with a cute skirt. This is rather an age appropriate suit.

Once I finished some touch ups I went out.

When I stepped out of the room I was greeted by Sehun, leaning on the wall exhibiting his features perfectly. He turned to me and smiled.

"You look so beautiful."

What did I do to deserve him?

I thought as my heart raced at a crazy speed again.
