"Sorry guys. I didn't mean to bother you." Irene apologetically lowered her head. She's been apologizing for three consecutive times now, people are looking at our direction now.

"No, it's really okay. We really weren't in a rush." I waved my hands in front of me and shook my head. She looked up and pursed her lips as she smiled eventually.

"I'm sorry." She apologized again.

"So what did you want to say?" Sehun who's sitting on my left cut her off, impatience is slowly becoming more obvious by his facial expression.

Oh right. After she called us she explained that she wants to give something to us, that's why she visited this island to give us some sort of souvenir.

Seriously, she had a minor burn just to give us something. She's even smiling the grimace off her face, it's obvious that it's painful.

"Ah!" She sat up straight as if she was startled, bringing her hands to cover her mouth.

"I almost forgot about that." She scratched her head and smiled awkwardly, yet somehow she made it pleasant to watch. She got her supermarket bag and placed it on top of her lap, she put her hand inside and pulled out a small brown pouch. Looking at it she tilted her head and offered the pouch to me quickly.

In shock I leaned back and looked at her with confused eyes.

"Uh, what's this?" I asked.

"It's just some accessories that I made with the shells  and some knock off pearls I collected yesterday." She happily told me and she continued to talk about her ventures to the shores and how she spotted the beautiful shells spread around the sand.

I stole a glance of Sehun, he's just resting his back on his seat watching the rehearsal of the fire dance, completely uninterested to talk to us.

"I hope you guys like it. You were really nice to me yesterday amidst me being different from you guys. It's nothing much but I really hope you'll receive it. " Bobbing her head she genuinely smiled.

Different, I know what she's talking about.

I gently received the pouch filled with her handmade accessories, without even looking inside I grasp it near my chest.

"Thank you for this. I know they're gonna be beautiful." I complimented. She blushed and shook her head.

"I am still a beginner but it's passable. It has the names of your friends attached in each accessories too." Eh? I slowly opened the pouch with one pull of the strand sticking out, I got one pearl bracelet out of the pouch.

Sehun.

That's what's written in the piece of paper. I looked at him and swing the bracelet in front of his face, he turned to me and raised his eyebrow.

"What's this?" He asked.

"Irene made some bracelets." He looked at it silently for a second and he held my wrist with his left hand, pulling it down.

Hm?

"I already have a bracelet." In a plain voice he said, Irene and I looked at both his wrist, nothing's there though.

"You're not wearing one." Irene pointed. "This one would suit you." She took out the bracelet from my finger and brazenly 'swatched' it on top of his wrist.

What the hell.

I am irritated at how she just snatched it away from me to make Sehun wear it, earlier she was such a sweet girl now she's becoming so brave. I guess it's part of her bubbly personality? Whatever, I am not comfortable with it.

I should do something.

Before I could talk, we were both taken back when Sehun removed his grasp from my wrist and drew his hand back in an instant, causing the poor bracelet to be thrown off the table.

"I said I already have one." He said in a calm but dark voice. His eyes darted to Irene, who's mouth is parted and shocked at what happened.

"Sehunie." I whispered. I held his right arm with my left hand, nudging it close to me. The moment he looked at me,  his eyes became soft.

"I'm sorry." Irene said in a whisper. Her eyes blinked for a few times and lowered her head, looking at the fallen jewelry.

"I just wanted to try out if it matched you." She reasoned out, I can see vividly her lips trembling.

Was she really that scared?

"You should know where you draw the line." Sehun said. He sighed and reached out for something on his left pocket, he then showed us a small black box maybe a size of a matchbox. I felt his muscles moved as he opened the box with both his hands, when I saw the thing that was inside the box, I felt my heart jumped when I saw the engraved letters.

"I'm sorry." She said after looking at the content of the box.

"I only have this. I don't need more." He then swiftly closed the box and returned it inside his pocket.

Was that my...

"I thought you lost it. " I spoke out, still in shock of what I saw. Sehun turned to me and raised the corner of his lips.

"I didn't want to break it." He paused and moved his eyes to the side, avoiding my eyes.

"So I just kept it inside the box, I bring it with me whenever I can." I can hear my heart beating out of it's place, it's dangerously loud, but I don't know why I feel so happy.

I can still remember when I gave that to him we were still kids, he got angry during Eunwoo's birthday and threw a temper. The black water pearl bracelet with his name engraved on each pearl. I thought he lost it or just hated it eventually when he stopped wearing it to school, so that's where he's been keeping it.

"Stupid." I pinched his arm.

"I think I'll get going now." We simultaneously turned to her, she's looking at us with a expression I can't really point out.

"I'm sorry again." She stood up, reached for her bag and smiled before she turned her back at us and walked away.
