"Ah." I let out a sigh as my body submerged in the hot water. My feet are comfortably stepping on the smooth rocks beneath it, massaging my soles on the right spots.
"This is perfect." I spread my arms and rested on the concrete edges of the bath.
"It's hot." I turned to him.
"Of course it's hot. What did you expect?" I rolled my eyes at him. He scratched his nape and looked at me straight in the eyes.
"This is too hot." He opposed, he was about to pull himself up to leave the bath when I quickly took a hold of his arms, pulling him down.
"Stay!" I commanded. "Please? You'll adapt to the heat later. Your hands are so cold now, I'm worried about you." I reasoned, giving my everything in pouting hoping he would consider.
His hands on the edge started to relax but he's still debating wether to stay or leave.
"Stay." I pleaded again, fluttering my eyes at him like I'm trying to get something out of my eyes.
His eyes softened and momentarily closed them. Raising his eyebrow he nodded and let go of the edge, I smiled and my hand from his arm slid down to his palm. He opened his eyes and with widened eyes turned to me.
"I'll keep you safe." I winked. He smiled and shaking his head he intertwined our hands together, my heart fluttered as he tightened the grip of my hand.
"I trust you." He sighed as he leaned back on the concrete together with me.
The bath is really beautiful, the room is really big but the bath just took a small portion of the room and the rest are filled with different big plants and bamboos. Steam is filling the room but just enough for us to see our surroundings, warm fairy lights are also scattered around the room which is illuminated by the tall plants giving the bath some shade.
"When should we tell our parents?" Sehun suddenly spoke. I placed my free hand on my chin, rubbing it.
"How 'bout as soon as we return?" I answered turning to him with a smile. He chuckled and nodded in agreement.
"I bet they'll be glad that we're together now." I hissed.
"Remember when they proposed about our marriage so suddenly?" He asked. I closed my eyes and tilt my head.
"Of course I do! That was one crazy night." I exclaimed.
"Sejeong-ah." I opened my eyes and looked at him raising both my eyebrows.
"I want to keep the deal between our fathers and us."
What?
My shoulders dropped and loosened the grip on his hand. A nervous thumping began to stir my heart.
But the deal will be off if we marry right? Unless.
"What do you mean?" I tried to make my voice sound calm when inside my heart is anxious.
His face is serious as he talked to me.
"I want to build our own company, we'll surpass them." He said with finality.
"But that isn't necessary anymore." I shook my head in confusion. "We're together now, we can get married without them forcing us." With a shaking voice I said.
"It's not about that-" I didn't let him finish as I couldn't control myself anymore.
"Then you don't want to marry me?" He stopped. His eyebrows met, he's looking at me like I just cursed a fucking stone.
"What?" I heard his seal-like laugh, looking up as he laughed his heart out.
"No." Still with tracks of laughter he cleared his throat. "No, please don't think of that." He stood straight and with his free hand he held my shoulder and made me turn to face him.
Gently caressing my cheek with his thumb he smiled, I looked away but his hand pulled me to face him again. I hissed but comfortably letting his warm hand touch my cheek.
"I just want us to have our own company, no other reasons." I shot my eyes up to him.
"Really?" I made sure. He smirked and nodded.
"Promise." The anxiety that grew in my chest disappeared, hopefully for good.
"Okay." I said in a calm tone.
He let go of my cheek and focused his attention on our entwined hands, adjusting our fingers to fill in the gap.
"The company that we'll build will exceed our family's." He sighed as if he's already putting the puzzles together on his mind to picture the company that we'll make.
"I have so many plans for us Sejeong-ah, it starts with you and it will end with you in it." He turned to me with his soft almond eyes. My heart thumped at the mention of my name.
"Then I'll gladly help you in your plans." Swallowing my excited heart I said. He ascend our entwined hand and planted a small kiss on the back of my hand, a small current passed through from my wrist to my heart.
"Together." He mumbled as his lips rested on my hand.
WHEN it was getting too hot we went out of the bath and decided to go out of the bathhouse and search for anything fun to do. I heard there will be some locals to rehearse their fire dance, it's just like hawaii!
"My body is so relaxed now." I stretched my arms to the sky as we walked along the shores of the beach.
"I'm glad to be out of that boiling water." He murmured by my side. I dropped my hands and adjusted my straw hat, making sure it would stay in place amidst the ocean breeze.
"Stop complaining, I knew you go used to it eventually." He shrugged his shoulders and smiled. Once I was finished adjusting my hand, I placed my hands behind me as I walked.
"That must've hurt." A group of people passed by us.
My eyes immediately spotted the crowd by the sea shore, just a few meters from us. It seems like there's been an accident based on their faces.
Curious,as we went nearer I peaked inside the crowd trying to see what they are gushing about.
"What's going on? Can you see." I asked Sehun. He extended his neck to see the cause of the commotion. I waited for him to tell me what happened, when he lowered his head and turned to me I motioned him to tell me.
"It's the girl from yesterday. She's been burned I think" My eyes widened in shock.
"You mean Irene?" I made sure. He nodded his head.
"She's being treated now so it's okay, let's go?" Simply not giving a care, he offered his hand as people started to walk away.
"Hmm." I nodded as I reached for his hand.
I guess if she's alright now it's okay to leave.
Sehun pulled me to him and we started to walk away when someone called my name.
"Sejeong!" I turned and saw her excitedly waving her hand at me while her other hand is being treated.
