The next few weeks of summer with Quinton were amazing. Me, Quinton, and B/fn hung out almost every day, which brought me closer to him. I had never felt this way about a guy before, and I wasn't hating it. We got along so well, it just felt normal.

You: hey do u guys want to do smt today
B/fn: Sorry I'm going out with some other friends today
You: quinton?
Quinton: Im going to sway for the day sry
You: its cool
"Well" I thought to myself "this is going to be boring". I decided since I had nothing else to do I would go get my nails done. I got up and picked out an outfit -

I went out to my car, got in, and blasted some music. I swung by Starbucks to grab a drink before my appointment at the salon.

since it was only 2 o'clock, i decided to go to the mall and do some shopping. I went in and out of stores for at least 2 hours before feeling satisfied with what I got. A few outfits I bought were -

I was walking back to my car when I noticed two familiar faces walking into the mall. Quinton and B/fn. They were laughing and talking together. Seemed like they were having a great time. I was dumbfounded with thoughts rushing to my head. The first thing that came to mind was that they lied to me about having plans. The second thing was the thought of "are they dating".
I wasn't the type of girl to go running and cry, so I just decided to ignore them both. Why wouldn't they just tell me? did they think I like Quinton? I was pretty angry since I thought Quinton said he loved me. Maybe just in a different way. I went home, posted a few tiktoks, and watched Netflix. It was around 7 when I decided to call B/fn and ask about it.
"hey" i said in a stern tone
"uh hi" she replied
"so why did you lie to me about having plans today"
"um i didn't" she said snarkily
"I saw you and Quinton at the mall today"
"its none of your business," she said, and rudely hung up
I was steaming at that point, but I had better things to do than worry about their "relationship". I watched Netflix until around 9, when I started getting numerous texts and calls from B/fn and Quinton. I obviously ignored them until it got annoying.
"can you stop calling and leave me alone" I said and hung up.
All of the sudden B/fn barged in my room and pulled me out of bed.
"wth are you doing" i shouted at her
"get some nice clothes on, were going out" she replied with a smile
"why can't i wear this? your in sweatpants" i said annoyed
"that's not important. just do it please, and ill explain" she says
She picked out this outfit for me -

She grabbed my hand and pulled me into her car.
"I'm still mad at you ya know" I said looking at her with a slightly confused face
she was smiling ear to ear when she said "you won't be soon"
We drove 15 minutes to the beach and parked. She pointed toward the sand and said "have fun". and drove off.
I was still mad and confused.
I started walking in the sand when I saw lights on the beach. It was really dark out so i decided to go over to the lights. When I got closer I could see Quinton standing the with flowers in his hand. Behind him were a few blankets, pillows, a laptop and snacks. He was dressed in a cute little outfit and had a goofy smile on his face.
