The next morning, Lila, Alex, and I all went to Dunkin to grab breakfast. I dropped them both off at their houses and went back to mine. I still wasn't in the mood to talk to Quinton so I decided to go for a drive. After about an hour of driving, I stopped at a Starbucks. I went in, ordered my drink, and sat down. After about 10 minutes, someone who looked familiar came in. I didn't want to get caught staring, so I looked back at my phone. I guess they noticed me to and came over to my table. It was Jaden.
"hey what are you doing here" he said while smiling
"Just taking a drive" I replied "what about you?"
"same" he said while getting up to get his drink
We talked for the next half hour about anything and everything. He knew about the picture of Quinton and how upset I got. I told him I would forgive quinton, just not right this minute.
After a while of talking, he invited me to go back to sway with him to hang out for the day. I said yes since I had nothing better to do.
I got in my car and followed him back to the house. When we got back we were greeted by everyone.
"Hey Avery! what are you doing here?" josh said
"and wheres Quinton?" Bryce added
"I ran into her at Starbucks and invited her back here" Jaden said
"Aveeryyy!" Nessa said running down the stairs
"Heyyy!" I said hugging her
We went up to Nessa room to grab swimsuits and went out to the pool.
"Avery heads up!" someone yelled
Next thing I know I was being thrown into the pool. I look back and see Jaden laughing. I hopped out of the water and run over to him giving him a hug while I was soaking wet. I went back to Nessa in the chairs and laid out.

Him: why are you at sway?
Him: and whats up with the pic of you hugging him
I looked at my phone and saw these texts from Quinton and went on to insta. Nessa had posted a pic of me hugging jaden when I was chasing him. I didn't care since we were just playing around. And then I realized I had just done what Quinton did to me. I wasn't planning on making him jealous he was so I decided to go with it.

You: ran into jaden at Starbucks and he invited me to come back to sway
Him: oh
Him: can we please talk tonight
You: I might stay overnight, so tmrw?
Him: k
Nessa and I went back to her room and both took showers. She let me borrow clothes, so I changed into this -

We went downstairs to where the guys were and ordered dinner and put on a movie. For some reason they chose to watch 'IT'. I wasn't particularly great with scary movies, so I looked like a wimp the whole time. Jaden was sitting next to me and saw me closing my eyes and looking away. I felt his hands pull me closer to him. He placed my head on his chest with his arms around me. I didn't pull away since I felt safe in someone's arms, but I knew I should have.
