It was now saturday morning, the day of the dance. The dance was at 8:00 pm and it was currently 10 am. Lila and Alex were hanging out for the day so I decided to see if Quinton wanted to hang out until I had to get ready. I was honestly surprised that Quin hadn't even asked me to go as friends, but I couldn't blame him.

I put on sweatpants and a teeshirt and went out to my car to drive to Dunkin. While I was waiting for my drink, I texting Quinton asking if he wanted to go out and do something before the dance.

You: wanna hang out before the dance

I got my coffee and drove back to my house while blasting my music. As I pulled into my driveway, I saw Quinton walking back into his house with one of the girls from our school, cynthia. I knew they saw me, so I pretended not to see them, and proceeded to walk inside.

I mean, I was happy for him, but I was now going to be all alone all day.

I went into my kitchen and decided to make a smoothie bowl to have with my coffee. I put on some music and got out the ingredients. While that was blending, I got a notification on snap from Bryce. He was in the area where I lived and asked if I wanted to hang out. I, of course, said yes since I had nothing else to do. It was weird though since we never hung out alone together normally. He showed up at my door with a huge smile on his face.

"why are you so happy" I said laughing suspiciously

"I just am" he responded walking in

We went up to my room so I could finish eating. I sat on my bed scrolling through my phone while he spun around at the chair by my vanity.

"so what do you want to do" he asks

"I should be asking you that" I laugh

"hmmm how about roller skating" he asked

"you know how to do that" I said suprised

"uh well not necessarily" he said while smirking "you can teach me"

I finished my smoothie and changed into something a bit nicer. We walked out to my car and he put his playlist on. We jammed out the entire car ride, which was surprisingly fun with him. We pulled up to the place and went inside. Bryce paid for us and I went to get the skates. Once they were all laced up, we went onto the rink.

"Ohhh nooo this ain't happening" he said barley standing up

"c'monnnn" I said taking his hands and pulling him

It was honestly the funniest thing I've ever seen. Not sure exactly why he chose to come here if he doesn't know how to skate, but it was still fun. We got some good pics too that I posted on my insta
